The Tipsy Tavern Bar & Grill

I felt like a out cast and was treated as such. I'm a white male and came to Harlingen for the winter. I saw this bar and thought I would give it a try. That was a mistake on my part. I set at the bar and after being ignored I had to waved down the bar tender. He wasn't nice at all. I ordered a drink and after I finished it he never asked if I wanted another. He just kept walking past me. So again I waved him down to get a drink He took my drink slapped it on the bar as he kept walking. I will never come here again and will spread the word on how your treated if you're not one of the locals

Music and sports games get a little louder than I’d like. Hard to have a conversation with it so loud.

Great watering hole find in the Harlingen area. The atmosphere and service are both excellent. You will have plenty of options for adult beverages and some tasty options from the kitchen. Their onion rings were a bit on the wimpy side but other options were outstanding.

Perfect football bar and restaurant in Southern Texas .
Found this place online and discovered that they had the Vikings vs. Lions game on.
2 for 1 wings and drink specials. Fried pickles and hush puppies were average and nothing special.
Wife said it was the best boneless teriyaki wings she'd ever had and I agreed after trying a few. The traditional buffalo wings were good but lacked celery and/ or carrots sides.
The highlight at The Tipsy Tavern was the service. Every server was extremely attentive and took really good care of a couple of tourists passing through town for 3 hours. Decor was great with many big screens and pool tables. Restrooms were pretty gross. Highly recommend otherwise.

Good day, folks.
A few would read long reviews on an establishment, I will keep it short in hopes ALL would read my review in full. The review is not on their food, but the actions of this place.
My wife and I are in south padre island visiting and relaxing.
Love football, Sunday afternoon, wanted to see LA Chargers play Steelers.
Decided to go to this place (The Tipsy Tavern) Harlingen, TX.
Arrived, I went in to confirm football games were being played, especially Chargers and Steelers, Yes, they were!
Went back to the truck to get my wife.
When re-entring, all TVs were on Baseball games. Are you kidding me, joking right! Being Sunday watching Baseball, Texas a football state!
I felt single out, disappointed, outcast, and discriminated of a t-shirt. Why is my own people doing this to my wife and I?
So out of towners, be aware of The Tipsy Tavern Bar & Grill, do not wear your team colors or else they my spit on your food before bring it to your table if your not one of them. Joke is on me, ever again.

Had the best $1.00 fish tacos ever here on Taco Tuesday. Lots of TV's to watch various sports along with the
awesomeness of the Orphanage Road Band. This was our first visit. ❤️🌮
Oh and the ice water was delicious too LOL.

Great place to grab a drink and some food. Taco Tuesday special is the best. Their tipsy burger is . Their wings are legit ?. Good selection of beers on tap ?. Waitresses are friendly and attentive! Ashley is the best. Definitely recommend you check out. Atmosphere is calm on weekdays, might get a little packed on weekends but definitely worth a visit.

Never been here, didn’t give me a chance to go in. I went tonight and they told me they didn’t allow crocs. I didn’t know and wasn’t aware. And the bouncer was so rude! I asked him do they have a dress code, and he replied “well it’s Friday, next time you know.” So rude!!
