We went for lunch on a Saturday. It's busy, but the food comes out quickly and tables turn over quickly. It seemed like everyone knew each other coming and going from the restaurant. Our server was super friendly. The food is classic Mexican food, but really good The chicken enchilada is in a mild green sauce, the taco was a healthy portion, and the rice is like I remember on the stove everyday growing up. What a find. Located 12 miles west of Fredericksburg on 290, this is a great mom and pop Mexican restaurant. Service was great and the food was excellent. The whole family helps out and the kids are usually around. Make it a must stop while in Fredericksburg TX.
