There website is very confusing. Went out there anyways... closed. Only open I guess by reservation only. They don't answer there phone, so no help there. I hate it, this was my favorite... my maiden name is Chisum, so I really wanted to experience it again:(
This was a great way to experience some local wine but get off the over-commercialized path of other 290 wineries. Even right after a snow storm (two days later)the owner accepted our request for a tasting and provided us great customer service. The wines were great. The service and experience was better. Will definitely be coming back.

This place had been a favorite of ours for years, with our last visit in 2018. We drove out in August 2021 to find that it was closed, so I checked the website on this trip (May 5, 2023) to see that reservations were required. Made reservations and we were sadly disappointed! Winery is for sale (for 6 years now per the owner) and the wine tasting was for wines that have been in stock since 2019 or prior, with nothing new made in many years.
