Great down home family restaurant located in the heart of Hearne. You can't go wrong with this place. They have a menu that would please anyone, friendly service, excellent food, and a clean establishment. We will be back! Thank y'all
This is a cute little find for those of us from out of town. I must admit that I chose it based on the word Cafe, but the food was a step above what I would normally consider from a typical cafe - with dishes like Beef Tips and Rice, Chicken Parmesan, etc. They have daily specials as well as lunch specials, burgers, sandwiches, and a great selection of dinner items. The food was a tiny bit on the bland side, but if you are coming to a cafe you probably arent expecting a ton...
We were on outr way home from.Branson Mo and looking for place for lunch. The Dixie was a fantastic and delightful choice instead of the fast food places. Everything on the menu would have been superb. I had the hamburger steak and my wife had chicken swiss sandwich. Fairly large portions, priced right and delightful server. Don't pass this restaurant by. Less expensive than McDonald's etc and way better food. All seemed home made.
