such a lovely staff. very nice and so accommodating. I had grilled chicken sandwich. Tasty & juict and not too salty like other places. nice portions. great value for the money! Highly recommended!
Our waitress, Iyana, was VERY considerate and a great waitress. The chicken fried steak is NOT hand breaded, regardless of what the menu states. It was a frozen lump of hard, flavorless leather. The beef tips were ok.
We were heading to Austin from Bryan and decided we couldn’t wait to eat. We stopped in and we were not disappointed! Ayanna was exceptional and greeted us with a big smile when we walked in. Our food came out fast and hot. We both had chicken fried steak and it was so good. Rolls, cornbread and sides were good too. We especially enjoyed the black eyed peas. We will come back for sure! No photos as we were too hungry! ?
