To this review attached. It had nothing to do with the color of your skin. Our white family of 5 was ignored, then waited over an hr for our food and it was cold.
It’s the cook not your skin color.

Delicious and yummy classic diner food
& lovely people
First off it's freezing in there. Bring a sweater.
Second, if you want a good milkshake this is the spot
Food is not as described on the wall menu and there are no prices listed for any of the food items.
The server seemed to be distracted or like she wished she was anywhere else.
I had to ask for a salad the server forgot to bring to the table after we had the rest of our food, I had to ask her for a refill, and then I had to go ask for the check.
She didn't say a word after taking our order.
Food is overpriced and overcooked,
I was charged $16 for one small Salisbury steak, chili cheese tots and the salad.
Entree was listed on the menu as Chopped Beef Steak.
It was over $60 for 2 people
We could of had fajitas and beers elsewhere for $65
Wouldn't recommend for food, just the milkshakes.
I had the strawberry cheesecake milkshake, it was pretty good.

Not the place if you are in a rush (we were not). There were some people here, but I would not say it was crowded. Orders are made one at a time, we’d been sitting for 1 hour 20 minutes when our food finally arrived. Nothing complicated, eggs, omelette, hash browns, toast. At about the 1 hour mark I asked if our order was in progress and was told that it was, we were ready to pay for tea and leave at that point. Fairly certain our food was not going yet since it took another 20 minutes. Wish we had left then. Food was fine, but again it was eggs and hash browns.
Prices charged also do not match prices advertised on their menu that you are directed to via QR code at the table.
Server checked our drinks when food arrived at the 1 hour 20 minute point and not before then.
Seriously not impressed.

I had a patty melt and fries with a coke. Food was great, price was on point, and staff was very attentive. Great 50s atmosphere.

Restaurantji Recommends
The atmosphere was cool. The restrooms were clean.
The food was bland and very small portions for the price. The veggies tasted freezer burnt and the gravy was like water. The fries were crispy and tenders were ok but the prices will keep me away.

We are in from out of town. Came from diverse, thriving Tampa to be with family getting married in this rural country area. It’s clear people of color are not welcome. I watched myself and another black family get ignored. Very backwards.
I rate this as two stars because of the quality of customer service and the food quality.
My family of 3 came in(for the second time) to this place for a quick breakfast from our air BnB. We watched 2 tables get served before us walking in. In particular, another family who sat at the breakfast bar had 3 meals come out before ours. We waited about an hour for our plates.
We had to find the waitress and ask her to get us drinks vs being greeted upon walk-in. Her name was Nicole or something.
Now, this is our second time in here, this rural area doesn't have other options. We had a classic breakfast, a pick3 and a country breakfast. The place had about 3 tables of people, so it was not busy. Scrambled eggs and pancakes shouldn't take that long.
The country steak was served without gravy. Came out as a side 10minutes after our plates were there. The hashbrowns were basically burnt on all 3 plates and looked/felt/crunch like lays potato chips.
In conclusion, this place was cute, menus written on walls (innovative cost saving measure) and had potential. Moderate prices. I can't help but feel like we were treated differently here because we are black. I'm not going to allude to any rationale other than rural, small town, America nuances for out-of towners. That was the vibe. Wasn't very welcome. From walking in to paying was just cumbersome. The server clearly just did not care to provide customer services- she even walked by without looking at us when we tried to pay for the register.
Objectively my experience.

Tonight, my family and I went to our usual diner for dinner, but we encountered a young man in the kitchen who was quite rude. To make matters worse, he smelled strongly of marijuana. I’m not sure what kind of people they have working there, but arriving at work under the influence is really unprofessional.

Placed an order. Grilled cheese for my daughter club sandwich from myself and an appetizer of cheese curds. One hour and 30 minutes later they started working on it. Service sucks. Got an apology from the manager, but it didn’t matter that point the only thing that wouldn’t matter is to give me my food for free which they did not do. I still tipped them 20% will not be back. Suggest you don’t go either
