Don't know why we waited so long to try Pony Express - the food was great! Our waitress was wonderful! Very nice old building, tables and a bar. Very clean. My burger was very, very good and hubs really enjoyed his Chicken Fried Steak. Fried mushrooms so good. We will go back definitely.
Great renovation of the old post office. Service pleasant keeping with the small town ambience. Only ordered a chicken wings platter but the Parmesan fries were tasty and the wings had perfect crisp!

The food is terrific. Here are the best appetizers: fried garlicky cheese, fried mushrooms, boudin balls, onion rings. French fries are ok. For lunch I had the club sandwich. It was good.
