We had the Oxtails (never had them before) they were SOOOO good, tender and flavorful!! The potatoes with onions, mac and cheese, and green beans were also excellent!The banana pudding had a great flavor but there wasn't much pudding and there were way too many Nilla Wafers. All employees were super nice! We live 2 hours away but will come back, hopefully REALLY SOON!!! We wanted to have the pork steak but it's not always available, we'll call first before we head that way...read full review
Great food and service! Made a visit on a Tuesday for work in the area, and came back on the following Thursday. Best soul I've had in awhile. Oxtail ain't no joke, and the sides hitting too.

Legit soul/comfort food oasis. I grew up with cafeteria style soul food in the city. Was driving through the area, did a search, saw the name, and knew I couldn't pass...Oxtails were tender, tasty and served in plenty... pass on the fork and knife, too slow. Sides were solid, only thing missing was collard greens. It'll be a planned stop when I ride through. Owners were warm and welcoming. the whole staff was kind. Hugs on entry wouldn't have shocked me, like family.
