I went to the first Schlotzky's in Austin while at UT 40 years ago. Amazed that they are now a major chain. Liked them 40 years ago and still like the food and the nostalgia.Vegetarian options: A few veggie options. Purchased the Italian calzone. Purchased one in Tyler and it was grilled and very good. This one in Henderson was just like a piece of Schlotzskys bread folded with meat in it. Not grilled or cooked. Disappointed.

Great place to dine! I had a salmon salad and shared a small Cinnabon with my wife. Only hitch is that dad-blasted super-duper Coca Cola dispenser that offers all sorts of soda flavors. It only offers these if the device is refilled in a timely fashion. After lunch, almost everything in the machine was exhausted and our drinks were filled through the drive-through window. Well, still a good place and if we're passing through here again we will stop by!
