Very fresh very delicious. I came during lunch and learned they have a great amount of lunch specials! The sushi was hand rolled I could tell and the steak in my order was perfectly cooked! I ordered the 2 roll lunch special, Spicy Tuna Roll and Shrimp Tempura roll. Then I ordered a Steak Bento lunch. Amazing. The prices were perfect, the food was awesome, and the service was stellar as well. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for sushi in Henderson TX!
Yamato is kind of our go to for celebrating stuff. This time was graduation, but there's decent variety. And they're usually ok with bigger groups.
If you're just interested in a regular meal there's bento boxes, or hibachi. We tend to reserve the sushi for special occasions.

This is a very clean restaurant! It’s a hibachi restaurant and the tables, nor the floor were sticky. And the food-amazing. I had the Superman Roll and it was more than a meal for me. My husband has the chicken and steak hibachi and he said it was the best he has had in East Texas.
