“This is our third time here. The wait to be seated was 15 min, which was fine. The waiter and I couldn't hear each other. There were so many tvs going with different programs. One is enough? The service was great, and the food came out in a timely manner even though it was a busy Friday night.
We ordered:
1. Queso dip - good, but order with no tortillas and more chips.
2. Burger - good as expected
3. Cobb salad with shrimp- good, but the shrimp were overcooked.
4. Lava cake - the best“

“Celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday w a dinner for 25 in one of the private rooms. Our guests had a great time, food was delicious and our servers were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend. 💕“

“We are new to the Valley and are searching the little gems. We found one at Santa Fe. The steaks were great. My spouse had the filet, cooked to perfection medium rare and velvet smooth. I went for the ribeye. Same results, perfectly cooked. Both steaks had flame char. Our server, Poppy, was divine. She was so helpful and attentive. We will be back.“

“I recommend La Eloteca when you’re craving that “elote en vaso” fix. I like that you have several topping options to enjoy that treat. However, folks.. Please have your food prep staff/workers change gloves after handling money or touching the checkout screen. The same checkout screen your customers touch. I was so turned off that I had to remind the female worker to change her gloves after she handled cash, the screen, then touched the opening of the bottle where the crema and mayo come out of. That’s cross contamination. She needs to retake that food handlers course again.“

“I visited this place since I was down in mcallen for few days decided to check it out great service great food!! Our server was a young girl fer was attentive in everything we needed didn't have to ask for refills perfect customer service Our food was fresh then theres a dj at night which is awesome!!! Will definitely visit again“
