Grimaldi's Pizzeria

Worst experience ever. Never going back to this place. Didn’t even want to give 1 star. Here is my experience from last night- We went in for a NYC style pizza. We did a walk-in. We were seated next to the toilet entry even though half of the restaurant was empty. I wonder what that was about. Anyhow, the server told us that they are backed up and pizzas are atleast 30 minutes wait. So we ordered an appetizer. Its was ok but lacked salt. We asked for salt twice but it was never delivered. Meanwhile some customer had an argument with the staff and police were called in. Dinner and a show we thought. We asked a soda 4 times but the server never gave us that too. Finally on our 5th try, she got our soda. Now here is what ticked us off. While waiting other tables filled up. Our server never refreshed our waters. She was seen hanging near the bar. 30 mins after we ordered, we asked how much time? She said almost 15 more minutes. So we ordered another salad. While we got the salad, other tables which came after us started getting their pizzas. Like 4 tables got served before us. When I asked where our pizza was, she said that they just put it in. My God. That’s when we decided to go. At the last minute she brings out a burnt pizza that its ready. I mean the audacity. Again, never going back even if you paid me to eat there. Always remember, one goes to a restaurant for food but returns for the service.

Aaron (sp?) should be replaced he knows nothing about about customers service. Blamed the customers for their incompetence on getting food in and provided to their customers in a reasonable amount of time even though other guest who arrive after. Further speaks to my spouse like he is in a college bar with no filter Grimaldi’s should be ashamed of him as your evening manager: Anyone and everyone who asks I will warn them so long as Aaron is there don’t go after 4 pm or risk being treated like a college student who is beneath him based on his attitude and demeanor. Congrats Grimaldi’s you hired someone with the attitude of a teenager who can’t handle adult situations, get someone who takes ownership for your mistakes - called management..

We had an absolutely wonderful server named Ava (if I remember correctly) probably the best experience I've had at a restaurant in a while and I go to restaurants all the time absolutely wonderful service 5 Stars. I'm a highschooler and I've had so so so many servers think I won't tip because I'm younger and so they treat me worse than they treat everyone else. (I always tip %20 or more) I didn't have that problem with Ava she was absolutely amazing and just because of her I will be coming back as often as I can!

Always excellent food and service.

Can't beat the flavor of their crust with the coal fired oven. Love their meatballs as a pizza topping with the garlic white sauce! We usually order house and caesar salads to share which are excellent, plus tiramisu to finish. Pizza and wine too of course. The wait can be long at busy times but that is to be expected.

We come here a lot but probably won’t return after our last experience. The pizza is good but extremely overpriced and the customer service is apparently nonexistent. We literally walked in the door on a Wednesday afternoon at 5:00 sharp. By the time our hostess seated us with menus it was literally 5:01. I asked the waiter if we made it in time for happy hour and he said it ends at 5. I said, “it’s 5:01.” He said he didn’t know if it would let him ring up happy hour prices so he went to ask his manager. He then returned and said the manger said happy hour ended at 5. Seriously? Ever heard of customer service for people who frequent your restaurant? Needless to say, I was really upset. There is better pizza around town that’s not so expensive and restaurants who have actually heard of good customer service. Do better, Grimaldi’s!

Good food(pizza). To go order was not checked by us and was incorrect. Small pizza, one glass house wine 35.00. Friend medium pizza. One glass wine, Italian pizza to go, salad and cannolis 155.00.

We did a takeout order of two pizzas. As we were walking out we asked if there was egg in the pizza crust, because we have a kid with an egg allergy. They confirmed that there is no egg in the pizza crust. On our way home, they called to let us know that one of the pizzas we ordered had meatballs on it, which contained egg. They absolutely went above and beyond! We hadn’t even considered asking about the other ingredients in the pizzas. The pizzas were absolutely delicious and fired too perfection. Will absolutely be ordering from them again!

Great pizza selection. Al pizzas and salads can be customized to your liking. Not a great place to watch a game as there are not many TVs. My husband and son got The Don and they said it was very good. I got a seaso al salad with the black cherry vinaigrette and candied pecans. So good! Wine selection is good, but they were.out of every wine I wanted. Overall we were satisfied with our meal and will visit again.
