Since the last time I was here, they're under me ownership or at least new management. The corners they cut are, unfortunately, extremely noticeable. No veg (little carrots, peas, onion) in the fried rice. They don't trim the fat from the ribeye. You have to ask for the dipping sauces. I'll go to Asahi next time.

Meal was delicious. The serving staff were very friendly and provided exceptional service. We had a surprise party of 18 for a special birthday event and it was extremely uncomfortable for everyone. I'm from out of town and have visited this restaurant several times and have to say how extremely disappointed I was with the room temperature in this restaurant.

Leaving 1 star only because 0 stars isn’t an option.

My boyfriend and I dined here today for Father’s Day. The food itself was actually very good—we ordered sushi and hibachi steak and enjoyed both. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined the experience.

After being seated, we waited 10–15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us or brought us drinks. Once our food arrived, the server immediately walked away without asking if we needed anything else. We never received yum yum sauce, so my boyfriend had to walk up to the sushi station to ask for it himself. While he was there, he saw our server sitting behind the sushi station eating instead of checking on tables (we were her only table btw).

By the time we finally got the sauce, I was already thirsty from the soy sauce and had finished my drink. I placed my empty cup on the edge of the table, but our server didn’t come back for at least another 10 minutes. A hostess eventually noticed and kindly offered me a refill. The next time our server came to the table, it wasn’t to check on us—it was to drop off the bill. We were never asked if we needed anything else or if we wanted dessert.

Then came the biggest issue. When we looked over the bill, we noticed an automatic 20% gratuity had been added for our party of two. The menu clearly states that a 20% gratuity is only added for parties of six or more. When we questioned the server, we were told management had added a 20% gratuity to every check because it was Father’s Day.

Our subtotal was about $80, but the final bill came to $103 after the automatic gratuity. I’m not even sure whether the gratuity was calculated before or after tax, as nothing was explained or disclosed beforehand.

I spoke with the manager, whose only response was, “I’ll talk to the server.” There was no apology, no effort to correct the situation, and no explanation as to why the automatic gratuity was not disclosed before we ordered. Customers should be informed of mandatory service charges in advance, especially when they differ from the restaurant’s stated policy. Had I received this level of service without the forced gratuity, I certainly would not have chosen to tip 20%.

The food deserves praise, but unfortunately, great food can’t make up for terrible service and an undisclosed automatic gratuity. We won’t be returning.

Are waitress was amazing Alicia I think that was her name. She was amazing considering we came in at the last minute for our daughter‘s graduation and had a table of 15 people. She took the orders and she came in like a pro and made sure everything was correct. She was very polite and also the person cooking our food. I don’t know the gentleman‘s name, but he was very entertaining. Very funny. Food was amazing. Could not ask for better. My daughter was very happy and that’s all that matters to me.

Absolutely loved the food. Only problem I had was that we had a reservation and it was pointless cause we still had to wait like half an hour or so.

We waited 35min for a table. Then we waited again for almost an hour for the chef just to find out that our hot plate is not working and there was a fight between the manager and the chef to inform us that the hot plate is not working and that we need to move to another table. We moved and Tony the chef was the best had a great time. You could see that Tony was mad and afraid of losing his job. And when he was done serving us the manager fired him on the spot. That is so unprofessional from management to fire a employee that just did the right thing while management could not to his job correctly. They will never see me again.

Went for a family dinner, this place is amazing, staff is top notch and food is so good! Owner/manager made sure we got our own private room! Our food was cooked by Yusu, who went above and beyond to make our dinner experience one of the best we have had. Will be our new favorite place.

I do not recommend doing their online take out placement. This is my second time ordering through the online portal and each time they don’t start making the order till I am there. I thought maybe it was just an accident the first time. But the second I had to almost wait another hour then the time it said it would be ready for pick up. I was even about 10 mins late on the pick up time it gave. But then I asked it seems like they start making it when I’m there as I see they are just printing out the ticket then at that point it’s almost been 2 hours since I placed the order. The front desk did say sometimes they don’t see it but they should be looking at it more which I agree if your going to have this system and it’s not busy since it’s a Monday night then they should be trained to check every 30 mins
At that point I’m worried about the quality of the food as now I feel like they are rushing to get it out the door.
And that’s don’t provide any compensation for their mistake.
