JK’s is a great spot for a traditional hot dog or beef sandwich that remind me of my visits to Chicago when I was a kid! I love an old school Chicago dog! The owners are always there and are very nice people! I think this is the type of food that’s best when eaten immediately so stop in and get a quick bite with the kids that’s made to order!

Italian beef was delicious and a nice size. My wife said she enjoyed her Coney dog. Big loss was not trying the banana cake, it looked really good. Definitely on the next trip.

I stopped in on my way back to Houston, and before I go any further, I will say the service was worth 5 stars.We ordered the Italian beefI chose the combo ( with the Italian sausage), plus a gyro & Chicago dogMy buddy ordered the beef with a Reuben.We shared of course, and we were disappointed, the beef was nothing special, not to mention I've never had the sausage split open and laid on top of the sandwich, the gyro was something from sam's clubAnd the Reuben was just bad. The Chicago dog was average at best. I'm baffled at people who say they were born and raised in Chicago and say this is great Chicago style food.I wish ownership the best, maybe next time I'm passing thru I will give it a second chance

The Chicago style hotdogs were amazing however no fries they don't sell fries ? the hot dogs were 5.99 each the price kinda turned me down but it does have that taste I wanted so I would come back again just but not with the family because of high prices for a hot dog

A small ducked off location we enjoyed very much . Hot dogs were on point, Italian beef sandwich dipped was as good as you’ll get outside of Chicago, and the banana cake was golden!

Small, slightly hidden place. Dogs were crunchy on bite, stramed as wellas Sesame bun. No french fries but Small selection of chips avaliable. Bottled drinks only. No cheese whiz but shredded cheese used. Not bad...give them a try.
