“We live in Hollywood Park and Purple Garlic is right in our neighborhood. This is such a wonderful restaurant! The staff is so friendly and fun! It’s literally almost like Cheers “where everyone knows your name” even if you haven’t been there in a while! The food is excellent, always served fresh, extremely delicious and hot out of the oven. They have a nice wine list, but you can also bring your own vino. We’ve always had great dining experiences at Purple Garlic and that’s why it’s been so popular for all these years!”

“Always Hot, fresh, tacos. Awesome updated drive thru. Our big plan was to open these wonderful tacos I always get and share this experience at the river front. We opened our bag to someone else’s order. Wasted minutes of driving and going back from the Guadalupe River. Always check your order, I gave trust in the service to get my order right. I’ll give yall another chance.”

The Insalata Caprese was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! I had the Pollo Bronx Parmigiana and my husband had Fettuccine di Parma with shrimp. The portions are huge!!! Can’t wait to go back!! The owner can and visited our table as well as everyone else’s!!! This place is a must!!!”

“First went there earlier this year, impressed us the minute we walked in the door, employees greet you upon entering with a truly warm, illuminating smile. When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! Thank You For Everything !!”
