The price of $45 for this brunch was disappointing. It was not worth it. The eggs seemed as if they had been in tray for too long because they were hard scrambled. Yuck. The gumbo was not seasoned and looked like broth soup. Chicken kabobs were tough as well as the Parmesan . The fruit was basic. The drinks were watered down from the bar. The tiny baby shrimp in the grits were sad . The greens had no flavor at all. I had been there for dinner before and hyped this place up to my friends and was disappointed. Why would you force this buffet only and not have regular menu available. $75 was my total for a basic buffet and watered down alcoholic drink. Very disappointed. It was blah.
0/10 would not recommend...unless you like eating soupy gumbo, flavorless boudin balls, & waiting 1.5 hours for entrées you never get. Even the drinks were bad. How do you mess up an amaretto sour?!
We decided to check out Acadian Coast for the Restaurants weeks menu. The items offered on the special menu were awesome from the appetizer to the dessert. Everything was delicious, even the cocktails we had. I'd definitely recommend it and come back again.
Everything thing was great until the boudin balls. Center was cold but they brought out the gumbo which was very hot and very good. I'll go again. The rest of the food was excellent.
Sunday brunch is not worth $45 a person. There was no pastries or desserts as the website advertises in pictures and there should be way more food for that price. They also do not advertise the price on their website.
Came here for a date night one Friday evening. From the hostess, to our waiter Jeremiah, to the chef that asked us if we wanted bottled water while chatting on the patio after closing, what a great experience we had. The drinks were amazing and the food was hot & flavored well. Seasoned and spiced just like I like! Ordered: Fleur de Lis, Froze, Love of My Light, Woodford Reserve, Redfish Ponchartrain, & Creole Blackened Chicken No live band that evening but the music was a decent level which allowed for conversing without having to yell. Also, the lights were dim which made for quite an ambience!
We had 8 people in our party, and I made a reservation ahead of time to sit outside because one of us is immunocompromised. When we arrived the restaurant was empty and our table was not prepared so we had to wait. Aside from that, the food was excellent and the young server, though admittedly new to the job, did a great job keeping up with us. And again, most importantly, the food here is excellent. I will return!
Such a cool vibe! Love the interior design and the food was great as well! Staff was friendly and spoke to us a lot before we went to the Astros game. We had the raw gulf coast oysters and they were very yummy? & the gumbo was delicious as well!
great service. awesome food. had the buffet and the food was perfect
This was our first time eating there. The pictures on their website convinced us to go there. The food was not as expected for the price. The brunch buffet was very lacking in flavor. My friends and I agreed that it would be our only time eating there.

I already sent two reviews. SHORT/SIMPLE: We're still in a "Pandemic". Each dish served with one utensil everyone uses. Parents letting their children run around the table with the cooking utensils, thinking that's cute. There was a quiet ambience than the noise level raise as if their favorite team scored. Talking and screaming at "8" optic. The quality of the food wasn't worth the admission. At first, walking into this establishment, I smiled and thought this was a great place I chose, not only for a Sunday brunch but also to take my lovely wife on a date. I'm embarrassed.
Great staff and great food! Check this gem out for yourselves. You will be glad you did. Everything was so good from the oysters to the desserts! But wait there’s more! That happy hour from 5pm - 6pm Monday - Friday ??? where can you get a 99 cent hurricane? ???
We went there for the first time today and the waitperson advised us that they were doing a Sunday brunch buffet today. I thought I heard her say it would be $33/person, but when the bill came, it was actually $44.95. Some of the buffet food (particularly the chicken brochette and chicken parmesan) was too dry and overcooked from being in the hot trays. The rest of the food was OK at best. Certainly this was way overpriced for the food. Service was OK, but nothing to write home about. I doubt we'd ever want to go back.
Our waiter sat us and never came back for 30 minutes!!!!! walked past us over 10 times and looked past us like we didn't exist. After 30 minutes and no service we got up and left and went to the mexican restaurant across the street. Service was wonderful there and the drinks were BOMB. Get your service together before you have every drink 13-18 dollars and the meals 18-40. Also, we only went because of zed on tiktok and he said their was live music on fridays and the ambiance was incredible...? there was zero live music and the ambiance looked very cheap...even had 2 different descriptions for food on the menu THAT WAS ALSO PAPER!!!!!!! Moral of the story me and my family will NOT be back here EVER, and I will not recommend to a friend. Waste of time.
Great food great service!
