The meals were just ok, we find this location hot and cold when it comes to their food quality

Sushi was great and the Toro was amazing. But I left my sunglasses on the table, returned in about 10 mins and they were gone. All the staff seemed to be clueless. If you go here make sure your don’t leave your sunglasses.

I travel because of work. I’m always trying new restaurants during my travels. The food at Akashi was ok. I’ve had way better food at smaller & larger Chinese/Japanese restaurants. My wife & I are tea drinkers. The tea was absolutely awful. Tasted like an old sock. The restrooms…putrid! The second you open the men’s restroom door, the smell of urine hits you like a heavy fog. My wife said that the women’s restroom wasn’t much better. The hand towel dispenser in both restrooms were out.
My recommendation is to pass on Akashi. There are many restaurants of this sort to choose from that are much better.

Came here multiple times and still haven't had something I'd come to them for specifically. This time I had the crispy duck and it was alright but the batter kept coming off. Tried it with the sauce it came with but ended up liking it better with the sweet and sour sauce. Tried the eel and didn't care for it either, didn't like the shredded carrot (did try it while I was cramping though so maybe I need to try it again another time). I think I had the dragon and phoenix wasn't really a fan of it either. It looks like most people get the sweet and sour chicken/orange chicken and those have tasted the best to me so far. Don't like their fried rice either.

We accidentally left our to-go box on our table when leaving and our waitress Tiffany ran outside in the rain to chase us down and give it to us. She was awesome.
Also, the food and drinks were great.
10/10 experience.
