One of my favorite lunch spots. Ordering online is super convenient for my lunch break. The falafel plate at AL is probably my favorite in the city. It comes with everything I love and nothing I don’t. I eat at AL Quick Stop at least 3 times a month and it never disappoints me. It hits the spot every time.
Food arrived nice and HOT! Cauliflower was so delicious, Tabouli is PERFECT and the Spicy Potatoes are soooo delicious too!

Always hits. The gyro plate is our go to and it’s a great portion. I love the way they grill up the gyro meat before serving it so it gets those amazing crispy edges. It’s super flavorful and juicy and the accompanying hummus and salad make the perfect bite. Also - don’t sleep on the baklava. Most are wayyy too sweet for me. This is the only place I can eat the entire thing. They don’t skimp on the pistachio and it’s super flaky. This place is casual, quality and just damn tasty.

Moldy pita! Gyro came with one sad, old, mangled slice of tomato. Please check freshness of your ingredients before sending out orders. Green spots on the pita means you toss it.

Food came out fairly quick, portions for the gyro plate was kinda slim. The gyro fries was good. Tzatziki sauce is really good, I believe it's homemade. Overall I would return in the future.Parking: In a small strip mall with free parking provided.
From the outside, cars and bicyclists riding by would never know that "Al's Quick Stop" is a restaurant by reading the name; as a neighbor you have to take the chance to walk inside. I want to support local businesses so I've stopped in, twice now. To their kudos, the inside is tidy and clean.I've eaten there previously and it was fine. Today I went in, asked for their specialty and was recommended the cheesesteak gyro. I took it Take-Out. Now, a half hour after finishing, I feel terrible. Nauseated.**I rang and spoke with Omar. I very politely conveyed my experience so he might look into it. Rather than saying; "we'll check our ingredients," or even "I'm very sorry, can we offer you something else" he seemed satisfied that it must be allergies (I do not have any, I told him) or else I was just "unlucky today" he suggested.My friend, I want to support you as a neighborhood business, however blowing off a customer without offering apology or alternatives when he respectfully shares a concern... I can't support that.** My stomach is roiling from too much salt, mayo and cheese. Perhaps that's not the issue, maybe the side condiment (tzatziki sauce) was on the shelf too long?

I have eaten at both locations, the one in Montrose and the one in Heights.Food is great at both locations. The one in the height has a chicken shawarma taco that you will fall in love with.
Worst shawarma wrap I’ve ever tried . Pita was super cold , chicken taste like dirt ( just kind of a weird flavor ). I asked for feta cheese on my fries and they added very little mozzarella instead ??♀️I do not recommend this place and I’m never coming back .

Response to the owner: Sir, please do not play the victim here. Someone knowingly put charred black beef in multiple food and sent out for delivery, in anticipation of no consequence knowing the difficulty of calling back a delivery and waiting another 30-40 min to get the food. Every profession has some errors that are not that easy to overlook and I personally think this is one of them.We have ordered from here several times and it's mostly really good but today we ordered and our half and half plate was delivered with a completely burnt beef. I wouldn't have done a bad review because other times they were great but the audacity to send out a completely burnt food for people is unacceptable.Edit: we had ordered more food and now I saw even more burnt beef in the other meal.

We stopped by specifically for baklava since we were craving it. It was good and well priced. I personally like it a little bit sweeter, but I have a sweet tooth lol. It's still really good and not as gooey as some others I've tried. It's a very small shop, and parking lot is limited. My bf went in and said it was quick and easy to pickup! Will stop by again next time I have a craving for something sweet
