Highly disappointed in the service and tamales. They used to be good years ago but quality went down they tasted like raw dough was not fresh, pork don't taste natural is more of processed meat, no flavor, greasy and chicken ones had tiny pieces of meat ! Waste of money and drive. AVOID!
Price is outrageous for the taste and you only get 4 small sauces for a dozen. PLEASE don't go I had to thrashed most of them away, the dough tasted like is premade and been in fridge for weeks. Homemade are more expensive but yet not good.

I got sick off of their food. The food was hard to eat. It seemed like it had been sitting out for like 2 days. I didn't even finish my food. The fruit that they had was rotten.It was just not a good experience

VISIT!!! THE food is amazing here . The pastries were extraordinary!!!
They're homemade tamales have fallen off just a little bit, but the atmosphere sweet breads and Hot food Line is always 100%. Got to get there a little bit early, to be the crowd and get the fresh goods but this place is always been a go-to for any houstonian please I stress the fact get there early to get the good fresh stuff... This place is always a win-win 10 out of 10 guaranteed, you can thank me later.

Authentic genuine Home made traditional Mexican Food Freshly made tortillas and the food doesn't need salt It's made like Mama used to make feeling nostalgic Lol The entire area is friendly and welcoming if your looking for a great meal and safe environment to enjoy family This is it 75 years being in service to H-Town says alot of the approval of the people who enjoy their food I really recommend to you make the effort to at least try it once Besides most everyone goes to Galveston to eat seafood now that's far This is Northside
