I was at the restaurant when it first opened in the morning. The restaurant did not have any oxtails, pork chops or peach cobbler. I ordered fried chicken and when I got home I had fried fish. People do have seafood allergies this could have went very bad. I grew up going to Alfredo's when Ann Henderson was the owner. For this to be a new location and for the voicemail to say come back home we would need to get it together and make sure that the restaurant is stocked with the items on the menu. Because they did not run out of food they opened without food. Please do better You are in a great location.

They give you plenty of food. Everything is fresh if they have it. Staff is friendly. Bathrooms are clean.

I ordered this delicious soul food not knowing it was going to be the best meal of the year for me. From the flavorful yams, the the tasteful green beans. Every dish I had, I definitely enjoyed. Not leaving the best for last but the SMOTHERED PORK CHOPS was out of this world. Will definitely be ordering continuously. 1000/10

Let me start by saying I didn't actually eat the food we bought. The ice machine was broke but was assured the drinks were cold. They were not, and the tea and lemonade, not real but from a mixture, were diabetes in cup, even when diluted. They didn't have any fish it was still frozen and would take 20 minutes before it would be ready so we opted for the Cajun Fried Chicken with mac n cheese, green beans, collards, and black eyed peas. When I open that container to check my food I was disgusted. The chicken had obviously not been cleaned as it covered in fried feathers and hair just sticking up everywhere and the mac n cheese looked weak. The pasta was overcooked and splitting with a soupy cheese mixed in. The greens looked ok and green beans looked like they can out of a can and they added some bacon to them. I would not recommend this place. Because I hate to throw away food I gave it to a woman who said she was hungry.

We ordered Thanksgiving dinners.The good: The dressing.The bad: The sweet potatoes were ok, but a bit undercooked and lacked flavor.Thanksgiving dinner did not come with gravy or rolls/bread.The ugly: Small bits of what felt/looked like parts of a plastic bag or something in the turkey from our Thanksgiving takeout. We stopped trying to eat after that. The huge pieces of turkey were very dry, but I guess that’s just the nature of turkey lol.Conclusion: We will still come by ‘maybe’ once a year but the quality has changed since they moved from the Almeda street location. We try to keep supporting Black/small businesses but I’m honestly glad dinner is over. We have better memories from the old days.

The new location is amazingggggg omg very rooming, great outside space, beautiful color theme feels like home when you walk in the door... the little short lady i missed her name but she was at the other location on almeda , she has always been sweet, beautiful spirit gives you granny vibes she's foing to make you want to come there everyday for that good old fashioned koolaid yes they not ready mamma :) just make your was over there hahaha safe area! I love it !
