We hadn't been in awhile.... But absolutely loved dining again... food Devine,, service lovely! We will be back soon before everyone gathers in September... we will definitely get on the ball in making reservations!

It was very busy on a Saturday night and we had to wait about 20 - 30 minutes past our reservation time - but that's to be expected. The food was great and our server could not have been more helpful and accommodating - a good reminder why we return again and again.

The tables were so close together that you could hear people speaking from ever area around your table. Very claustrophobic. The noise plus the serve era rushing by our table was an immense distraction.

Very loud for a group of 8, not enough is absorbing the sound so it is very loud. Food is excellent. Might go back with a smaller group.

As usual, Amalfi is a very good restaurant. It offers delicious food, attentive service, and a very welcoming atmosphere.

Amalfi Ristorante is the ONLY Italian in the entire Houston area that feels, looks, and tastes like Italy. The food is beyond compare; it truly is like eating in Sorrento—or anywhere along the Amalfi Coast. It is our absolute favorite restaurant! The attention to detail is excellent from the moment you walk in the door until you leave. The servers are knowledgeable, friendly, and polite. The entire restaurant is pure perfection. We love Amalfi! (How this is overlooked every year for the Chronicle's Top 100 Restaurants in Houston never ceases to amaze me. It only goes to show how poor our restaurant critics are at their job.)

A very nice surprise. From the outside, it looks small and kind of uninviting. Dont be fooled- this place has some of the best food in Houston. Good service, nice wine list and a very pleasant decor. And its bigger than it looks from the outside. Dont pass this up!

Very disappointed in the service. Felt that he didn't want to be there which was disappointing for our first time to be there. Ravioli was delicious. Spaghetti and meat sauce was really salty and that was coming from a salt lover. Lemon gelato was terrible and probably shouldn't be served. I can't even explain what that was. Frozen cream with a ton of sugar that wasn't edible? Too many places to eat in Houston that's much better so we won't be back.

Mu wife and I have always enjoyed Amalfi. The food was especially good Saturday night! I had the ossobuco special which was amazing with the softest bone marrow ever. My wife had the ricotta cheese and butternut squash with lobster medallions which was also amazing. Our server, Mitchell was very attentive and recommended the we we chose, an Italian pinot noir. A very nice match with our menu selections. We'll definitely be back soon!

It was mine and GF birthdays accompanied by my daughter and husband that flew in for the BDs. and nothing was special done to acknowledge the BDs. And we have been going there for since they opened and frequent about every 6. To 8 weeks. Disappointed. Their service was great as was the food.
