Took a long time for food to come. Hash Potatoes had heavy drizzle of honey. Breakfast taco was bland. Waffles was not worth eating. Loud. Service was rushed.

Everything on the menu is phenomenal. This family owned establishment has put a lot of thought into the offerings to get everything just right for the flavoring of each dish. On the downside the kid’s menu seems to have disappeared. Not a big deal since kids will find the standard options quite tasty, especially the waffles. My wife and daughter both agree it’s the best waffle they have had in Houston. It can get a little crowded so you might want to time your visit. For valentines day they handed out a rose to all the ladies, which was a nice touch. This is one of those small family owned Houston establishments that has earned its high rating. Regardless of any minor nits a reviewer might have, the food is absolutely delicious and for us that is the most important thing.

Awful experience with Patricia today. She’s was not only arrogant but told me she would not be making any money if she fixed a simple latte drink that did not taste good. Mind you I spent over $40 on my meal and drinks. That is what I would typically spend at the minimum when I would visit too. Eventually she agreed to fix the drink and told me never again will she do that in a loud and mean tone. I mentioned I was a regular and second guessed me asking the employee if it was true which they of course confirmed. In all my experience dealing with businesses as a business owner myself I have never been treated so disrespectfully or would I ever mistreat a customer. I can only imagine how she treats her poor employees. I will never support or step foot in this shop again. I hope anyone else that values their time and hard earned money go spend it somewhere else where it will be appreciated. Patricia should definitely stay in the back away from customers with her negative attitude.

Patricia was extremely rude and loud. She yelled at us when we simply asked that our drinks made correctly since they lacked flavor. She was also extremely unprofessional towards her employees as I heard her talking down to one of them and yelling loudly at the front counter. Before I meet this person I was a regular customer. I will no longer come here and will make sure to tell my friends and family to not come here and support such behavior towards customers and employees. Not worth the hassle especially when there are many other amazing places to try in Houston.

Kind staff, good food, and cute coffee art!! Cafe is on the small side with a moderate amount of tables but it can get busy and fill up pretty quickly. Parking is free across the street in the visitor’s garage.
