Parking is a bit difficult. Valet parking is available. They take tips on credit cards. Got there and we had to wait to be checked in. The place is packed. COVID safety precautions- the staff wears masks. Tables aren't spaced out. There is outdoor seating available. Once seated, you will be given 2 slices of butter and plain white sliced bread. (Thinking Italian and maybe a bit more authentic-where's the olive oil and seasoning and the nicer fresh bread?). burrata was basic-tomato/burrata/olive oil/ seasoning/argula/ with balsmic glaze. Eggplant parmesian was two long slices breaded with sauce and cheese. Each entree comes with seasoned vegetables-didn't taste fresh. Fettichine alfredo was delicious. As far as italian food goes-I feel like for the price and genre of food -can find a better authentic spot in Houston.

I had dinner at Antica Osteria in October with a couple girl friends and it is now my favorite Italian spot in Houston! The pastas were so good! We each ordered a different dish, but I was lucky enough to try all three which were equally delicious: Penne Three Ps, Gnocchi Di Patate (with pesto) and the Vitello alla Romana. The gnocchi was my personal choice and it was one of the best gnocchi dishes I've had in a long time. I highly recommend pairing it with the pesto sauce. The restaurant had a great wine selection and our waitress recommended us a lovely bottle of red (unfortunately I cannot recall which one, but I wish I would have written it down). The atmosphere at Antica Osteria was great and I highly recommend it for a date night or an intimate evening with friends. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Antica is a warm, welcoming authentic Italian restaurant in a fabulous setting. My wife is a very picky with Italian food. She was born and raised in northern Italy, and is critical. This is her favorite restaurant, Italian or otherwise. Must try the Gorgonzola gnocchi. We order it as an appetizer because it is so rich. The lamb shank, veal piccata, branzino, are the best. This is a must visit. I would give 6 stars, but only 5 are possible.

I was so please to see the beloved Antica re-open in October 1. My daughter and I dined on the re-opening night and it was even better than before. The restaurant was fairly crowded and despite being the first night back, things ran incredibly smooth. Staff couldn't be more pleasant and all are adept at anticipating diners needs. Ray the owner was visible as always, ensuring everything is perfect. I had the chicken Milanese and my daughter had the "three P's pasta." Both were extraordinary. This was a fav spot pre covid and honestly it was better than ever. Prices for this extraordinary of cuisine are very reasonable and you can't beat the charm and ambiance of the place.
