What is strange; you ask?
Well, I go to some of the finest restaurants in Houston and the world and somehow this place remains a hidden secret when people come up with lists of the best places.
Eli was the pizza slinger and he has
Been tossing that pizza at Antonio’s longer than you have likely been alive.
The crust is amazing. The food - OH MYYYY.
Edwardo was the epitome of world class waiter.
The chicken Alfredo ???? MY GOSH SO CREAMY ITS DREAMY!!
Just simply the best kept Sicilian secret in the country.
I don’t even know if I want the word out. I sort of just want this place all to myself.
A Nobu 10 star restaurant!

We decided to give a chance to this business for second time, the waiter is awful and he took our order wrong when we informed him that we ordered veal not chicken he became very abrasive and insisted that it was chicken and refused to change it. We had just a bit of it. Food is average, price is high and service is a disaster. Not anymore.
Great food.
I love their pizza because their crust is PERFECT and the toppings are plentiful and delicious.
Family owned and operated.
Been coming here since the 70s.

Great pizza with a good wine selection
This is an original Italian made pizza like you would get in New York pizza business. Everything is fresh and the Pizza tastes great. Ticket from a true Italian.

Antonio’s Flying Pizza is one of those places that reminds you why family-owned restaurants are so special. The moment you walk in, the old-school ambiance makes you feel right at home, and seeing the owners working the front and greeting customers adds a personal touch you just don’t find very often.
The pizza is every bit as good as its reputation. The crust is perfectly cooked, the toppings are generous, and the homemade tomato sauce is outstanding—rich, fresh, and full of flavor. The homemade meatballs are another must-try and pair perfectly with any meal.
The service was friendly, attentive, and genuine from start to finish. It’s easy to see why Antonio’s has become a Houston favorite over the years. Great food, great people, and a welcoming atmosphere make this a place you’ll want to visit again and again.

Based on all the great reviews, we had to give Antonio’s Flying Pizza a try, and it did not disappoint. It definitely lived up to our expectations.
The restaurant has a nice, welcoming ambiance, and the service was friendly and attentive. Most importantly, the food was outstanding.
We started with the calamari and antipasto salad, both fresh and delicious. For our main course, we ordered a large cheese pizza that was thin and crispy, just the way we like it. The lasagna was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the spaghetti and meatballs were incredible.
We finished the evening with tiramisu, which was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
We can’t wait to come back!

Our Fridnay night go to place! Consistently good food! Great atmosphere!
Went to Antonio's for the first time today, had meatballs , they were awesome and the service was awesome. I don't eat pork. A lot of the meat they use is beef. So many other italian restaurants use a mixture of beef and pork or they just use pork in everything. I will definitely be coming back.

Was introduced to this family owned restaurant when I was 15 years old. Same guy flying the pizzas in 2026. Fresh ingredients come together to make a beautiful symphony of flavors wrapped with good old fashioned service the way things used to be. Do not sleep on this gem.

A friend of mine said he’s been going here since a child and it’s the best pizza in town.
I will say the pizza had so much flavor, and I may be a bit preferential on crust (I like more Neapolitan style) but the cheese, sauce, crust were all exceptional.
Caesar salad was perfect the dressing you can tell is made well.
Tiramisu was delicious
Can’t wait to come back and get this pizza to go and bring it home.

The best place! The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is very nice. No reggaeton, no trap, no rap — just elegant music that makes the experience even better.
The meatballs with cheese were like a trip to Italy, and the calzones were absolutely delicious. The tiramisu felt like a little voyage to Europe — highly recommended.
The young man who attended us was very polite and had excellent manners. Everything was delicious, with exceptional flavor.
Highly recommended
