I’d give it zero star if there was an option here. Poor, DISCRIMINATORY and snobbish customer service. 👎👎👎👎 overpriced foods with dirty table set up😟😣😫 Don’t waste your precious time, money and stomach here 😥 If i applied a little critical thinking to this restaurant, its limited Google map review for its long term in business explained its inferior food with expensive price tag. 😢🫣😑

Small space but great food and service. The space can feel cramp but the food quality and freshness is seafood is consistent. Live crabs, fish and lobster. Seafood is the main event here.

This restaurant used the so called special dish/special price to lure and scam customers. Their attitude is particularly arrogant and bad, and discriminating! Arco, if you don’t have the dish, then don’t advertise it. And if your kitchen doesn’t know when to cook it, then don’t tell the customers to come back at such time!

We met our friend at this restaurant for dim sum. We’ve been here before, usually for dinner, but this was only our second time coming specifically for dim sum after quite a while. The place is usually quiet, which has always made me wonder about freshness due to the slower turnover. That said, these days most dim sum is likely frozen rather than made to order, so it wasn’t a major concern.

We came on a Wed around lunchtime, and there was essentially only one other table dining. The restaurant was extremely quiet, but they had three servers on staff, so service was very attentive. We ordered about eight dim sum dishes, and everything arrived within roughly 10 minutes.

Flavorwise, everything was good. Most dishes we ordered was priced around $7.95 each, which feels a bit on the higher end. They do charge for tea per person, and I noticed they were also promoting a Lunar New Year set dinner. In total, the three of us spent $80 for dim sum, which felt a bit much. It wasn’t outstanding, but it was a decent meal especially when you need a quiet place to talk.

Although seafood is on the name, I think that their Beijing Duck is one of the best in Houston.
Today we had a stir fry tendon in abalone sauce, a classic hot and sour, and a fish head stew. All very authentic and enjoyable.

Food was just okay, nothing special. Most of the servers were nice, but there’s one middle-aged lady with short hair who completely ruined the experience. She was rude, dismissive, and very unprofessional. Her attitude and the way she handled things made us all uncomfortable.

It also seemed like she didn’t want to deal with larger groups at all. If that’s the case, maybe she shouldn’t be working in a restaurant. Whether she’s just a server or someone in charge, her behavior was unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially if you’re coming with a bigger party and she’s around.

The service here was terrible. The other staff were very nice, but one woman with short, highlighted hair had a terrible attitude! She kept glaring at us the entire time, even at the kids. When we checked the bill, we noticed an extra charge and talked to another server to have it removed. While we were doing that, she stood nearby complaining about us to others, saying we were annoying. I honestly don’t understand what kind of manager would keep someone with such a bad attitude working in the restaurant. Definitely not coming back!

This was my first visit to Marcos Seafood Restaurant, and it definitely won’t be my last! The food was incredibly fresh, and every dish tasted like it was made with care. The service was great—friendly, attentive, and efficient. I also loved the convenience of the location—shopping and dessert options are right across the street, making it the perfect spot for a full outing. Marcos has a great variety on the menu, and I can’t wait to come back and try more!

We passed by this location for many years finally got to visit. Not very welcoming front counter. Not a good idea for first impressions. However, nice and comfortable dining room.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our DimSum orders. Not sure why the steam buns crack, due to freezer burn perhaps? Other than that, very flavorful flat noodles with beef and broccoli. One of best, I have tried. Great sauce over the wok fried flat noodle. I was truly impressed.

We will return order from the menu instead.
