Delicious tofu or vegetable curry and fresh spring rolls for vegetarians. Medium heat was plenty hot for those of us who love spice. Four of us ate out, three got curries and one fried rice dish, and we all enjoyed our food. The favorite of the meat eaters was the crab rangoons, though. The staff were very friendly and the inside was nicer than expected from the outside.

Probably the best tasting Thai food in Houston, TX. This is my go-to spot for quick, affordable, and delicious Thai food. Their Pad See Ew is 10/10 (great flavor, natural colors, good portions) and their female staff are so nice. Personally not a huge fan of the loud music and the big TV screens, but I appreciate that they only broadcast food/travel channels on them to stimulate the appetite and entertain lone diners. If anyone wanted a recommendation for good Asian food in the Energy Corridor/Memorial Area, I would gladly recommend Aroy Thai Cafe.

I enjoyed my food. Customs should be knowledgeable that this is Thai spicy, so mild or medium is likely enough even if you like spicy. I told them mild to medium for my pad Thai with shrimp and any spicier and I wouldn't have enjoyed. The salted edamame was fine.

I had to mark down the rating because the young male waiter was super inattentive. We were the only people in the restaurant and he just stared down at his phone the whole time. I also would've preferred soda that came with a free refill instead of a single can.

I’ve gone twice now and their food is really good. Their portions are sizable enough that I usually bring leftovers home. The price is well worth the quality and quantity. I don’t usually like tofu but it’s pretty well seasoned and the texture is ok. There is limited parking depending on what time you go.

I had the Panang curry with medium heat. It was really good. The spiciness was enough to make my nose run. I like it that hot though. The wait staff was friendly and kept my tea glass filled. My bill was about $14.

Tasty appetizers though most are Japanese. There are some uncommon entrees like Rad Na that you won't find elsewhere - everything's delicious!

Parking lot isnt smooth, kinda sketchy location but the interior design is very welcoming

Excellent Thai food that was freshly made and served to our table in record time! The green curry was flavorful and delicious and the spring rolls were great! Such a pleasant hole in the wall surprise that deserves more appreciation!

Does anyone remember Nit Noi Thai on Woodway in Houston? They had amazing food but they were a little higher priced. They closed a few years back. I have been searching for great Pad Thai since they closed, and I finally found it! This place is like Nit Noi's little sister.
I will definitely be back! I was immediately impressed upon entering the restaurant. We were warmly greeted and shown to a seat. We ask for a different one with booth seating on both sides and were accommodated with a smile. It's a small space, but also offers an intimate atmosphere. They have 5 TVs in a row above the kitchen area. Looks like they were all playing cooking shows, but it's a nice touch if dining alone and need something visual. The interior is not anything special, but it's the service and the kitchen who get the review of 5 stars. We ordered 2 appetizers to share. The 4 piece Crispy Rolls comes with a dipping sauce. They are perfectly fried and deliciously crispy, hence the name. We also ordered the Tempura Shrimp, also a 4 piece with dipping sauce, and arrived with a little side salad plus dressing. Both appetizers were terrific! For our main entree, the gentleman had the Red Curry with a spice level of medium, he chose. I had the Pad Thai with chicken and a spice level of mild. The Red Curry arrived in a steaming hot bowl with a side of beautiful white sticky rice. The Pad Thai was extremely well presented with lovely sprig of scallion leaves, peanuts to sprinkle on top, and a lime wedge. We each tried the other's entree. Both were very very good! I will say I am thoroughly and pleasantly surprised. The spice levels were great. I am not as much as a spice lover, so my mild preference was perfect for me. His medium preference got a little hotter as he got to the end of the bowl. I think Thai culture is use to more spice than American culture, for the most part. Either way, it was still delicious! The portions are large enough to have leftovers. I was thrilled I had lunch for the next day. I don't think they have a soda machine. We had ice tea. I noticed she kept getting the ice from an Igloo type cooler which sat on the countertop. Wine glasses were on a shelf, so I would assume they offer wine. In another review I saw the picture showed a can of Coke, so I think that is what they offer. This place is known just judging by the multiple people who came in for pickup orders. I can't wait for cold weather to order something warm. Red Curry during cold weather is delightful! Parking is easy. Plenty of spots available at dinner time when we went. I will return and probably do pickups from this place since it is so good.

Good food but they actually close at 2pm M-F and stop taking orders then, even though Maps says they close at 2:30. Their dining room closes at 2:30 but the kitchen closes at 2pm to online, call in or walk-in orders.

We went in for lunch on a Friday and place was not packed so it was nice and quiet.

We ordered the chicken pad Thai, chicken Aroy fried rice, and papaya salad. When first trying a restaurant we like to order the classic first as an indicator. We would definitely be back to try other dishes. Their Thai hot spice is truly Thai hot and my husband enjoyed it.

Our only issue was when they came with our total on one of those card swipe machines. We didn’t get to see an itemized receipt so when they gave us the total, it felt off to me. They did NOT let me know that tip was already included. I decided to click “no tip” and have the receipt text to me to check out why the cost was so high as I had cash on me in case I needed to leave cash tip. It was just my husband, our daughter, and myself. Somehow they neglected to tell me they auto added the large party gratuity on my check. I thought it was very shady.
