Been here many a time, figured I would review finally. Always a nice standard experience at Avalon diner, food is good, not great, but good. I usually get the big breakfast, with scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes and a chocolate milk.

I've been to Avalon diner many times and have always enjoyed it. However, I went a few weeks ago for breakfast. After we were served our breakfast, a roach crawled across the table. We informed the waitress and she said that roaches always come out when they exterminate once a month. Perhaps they need to exterminate more often!!! We informed the cashier also who just shrugged her shoulders. I can't believe they didn't even comp our meal. Anyway, I won't be back to this roach infested diner.

The restaurant has a diner feel. The food was good overall, but my hashbrowns were a bit undercooked and cold. Aside from that, the flavors were solid, and I’d still consider going back to give them another shot.
Won’t go back there again. The waiter got the order wrong after I repeated it several times. Then she charged me for something that wasn’t on the order. And argued with me about what it was. I ordered. Then out of nowhere eight ladies saying their grace out loud. So the rest of us had to listen to it. And some people actually clapped. Very weird place not going back ever again.

Came here with my co workers for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Super old school home in the wall style breakfast joint. I loved the authenticity of the place and really appreciated it. Now a day everything is so modernized and this really put me back to my roots. Had the omelet and the biscuits were the shiiiii. They were fluffy and not over done. Just perfect with some honey! Free refills on the coffee and nothing but full stomachs and smiles after. Thanks for breakfast 😘
