Absolutely love Avesta! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The lamb shank and kabobs are my go-to, and the bread with dips is a must every time. Huge shoutout to my server Movi — super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. This place feels like a hidden gem in Houston. Highly recommend! Oh yeah! Some of the best Persian food in Houston! Hot fresh bread, great appetizers, great dishes. Love to start with the mast Mosir yogurt dip and kashke bademjan. I usually order the Joojeh Kabob or the beef chenjeh. Love finishing the meal with a hot cup of tea.
