The food is mainly fresh throughout the year but some days are definitely a miss. The service is so so since it is mainly self serving. This is one of my favorite ways to eat sushi. It's quick and easy plus it's also fun with the sushi conveyor belt going around. I am a frequent goer at the first location of Kura. So it's great that they opened up another location here. It's pretty much the same routine.I prefer to order from the menu rather than grabbing it from the conveyor belt mostly because it's seem to be more fresh.
