The dry aged ribeyes were great- they had amazing flavor. In comparison, the medallions were so plain and almost inedible. The same can be said for the potatoes that came with the surf and turf. Very bland- but the extra side of loaded mash was great. I didn't care for the creamed spinach at all. All of the desserts- carrot cake, cheesecake, chocolate cake- were fantastic. It was either a home run on flavor or a complete dud- nothing in between.
Second visit during restaurant week. A little less of a wait and a little less noisy going on a weekday compared to a Saturday. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Food was hot and delicious, as expected. Overall: very nice evening spent at B&B.
The evening started out great - the restaurant was packed, so we waited for about 20 mins after our reservation time in the bar. We were able to order a drink while we waited. Once we got to our table, the waitress was very helpful with recommendations, wine pairings and we quickly received all our food and drinks. We ordered off the Houston Restaurant Weeks menu with some additional sides and appetizers. Definitely get the carpetbaggers and bread service! The salads were fine,...
