This adorable bar is a cozy and classy spot for a date, Very quiet. More “girly” vibe than anything. The drinks are okay, and the prices are reasonable. The snacks are just pre-packaged and ready to serve, but I would recommend the olives. The service is good, and there’s street parking available.
Great addition to the Houston cocktail/bar scene. Eric, formally of bludorn, makes great cocktails in a beautiful setting. One of the most unique and beautiful new bars to open up in Houston in years.
Bar Madonna is a hidden gem. Tucked inside a gorgeous boutique hotel with rich, French-inspired interiors, the space is intimate and incredibly well designed — the kind of place you want to linger. Tom, the GM, is warm, sharply dressed, and genuinely attentive. Max and Eric were the servers who seated and served me — both super friendly, gave great drink recs, and were just a blast to talk to.
