The absolute worst place I have ever encountered. They scam you for your money and make you come in pay money and do not even tell you they are not serving anymore but just pay to dance. Instead of letting the customer know this was their option do you want to pay the money they simply just collect. It’s a dirty establishment and I would never step foot in there. For anyone who is not from area and you are looking for a night cap after hours because their website says so is false advertisement and they will collect your money and treat you so disrespectful. It’s a trash can in the middle of Houston. Just be careful. I would never mention this place to any out of town friend if it was the last bar.

I asked for a recommendation on a drink since they don’t have have a menu and I go out often and I’ve never had that sort of response when I asked for a drink recommendation. Im asking for a recommendation to know what it is you make well so that I don’t get a terrible drink. Met some cool people for sure. The vibe was great however don’t leave your tab open, it’s always some shit. Guess they have an atm for a reason. Just pay cash, less of a headache and you won’t be charged an interchange fee for each drink. Short manager dude came over to assist. Useless. Over charged for drinks that already over priced, I have never paid $24 for two Mexican candy shots ANYWHERE, I paid for some drinks meanwhile my bf left his tab open. We were charged for two extra drinks, just fix it. Instead they tried to justify the whole thing when they’re wrong. Review your video if you have it. I guess I was drinking alone on his tab lol Maybe start with a new staff? Your current bar staff is terrible, the “manager” or whatever the hell he is proceeded to tell us to take it up with our bank then threw our receipts in the trash and walked off. Also the restrooms are gross, went to the restroom shortly after 10pm and clearly they aren’t attended to, do better.

Decent club with good themed nights, parking is a nightmare to find on crowded nights without spending hella money. Took off three stars due to : -crowded, dark and dirty restrooms -also not a fan of their system of not allowing people to pay ahead for their friends to get in -security also need to regulate and control crowds better because on Halloween night everyone was squeezed in like sardines and there was literally no room to move around on the floor.

Went out for a special night with my friend and met some cool people. Wanted to make the night unforgettable since she suffers from terminal illness. I was disappointed with the bar service. There was a long wait so my friend got bored and started dancing. I don’t blame her, to be quite frank she is terminally ill and may not be able to tomorrow. If we’re gonna spend half the night waiting at the busy bar and not on the dance floor why waste time just standing around. I taste my drink when it finally comes out and it tasted like it was not ok. I politely requested the bar tender to remake our drinks and calmly explained everything, but she declined and was super rude about it. I quietly left my drink and walked away because I felt uncomfortable, but she talked my friend into buying extra shots to throw in and made her feel guilty for me leaving a drink behind that I felt had been tampered with. I puked a bitter herbal tasting substance the next day, that is completely abnormal for me after having only 3 drinks. Will not be coming back.

It was alright. My go to club is Numbers, but we came here because it was highly recommended. I’d describe the vibe as depressed early 20s. The dj did alright but every other song seemed to be a miss that they’d stick with instead of quickly fading it to something better. The drink I ordered tasted terrible so I had my half a drink then we left. There were also a lot of homeless a few streets over, so I’d discourage walking here.
I came here for a birthday, paid for entry, and shared a cocktail with a friend. About an hour after arrival, I went outside to help a friend safely get in an Uber back home. When I tried to go back inside to rejoin my group, Travis, one of the bouncers, told me I couldn’t because he thought I was “too intoxicated.” I politely told him I was sober and asked him how he had made this determination, but he refused to elaborate and simply told me, “There is no way you’re getting back inside again.” I was polite and non-argumentative, and asked him again for an explanation because I was genuinely confused. My friends came outside to advocate for me, but Travis was not receptive and humiliated me further. As I sat outside waiting for my friends, other staff came outside, conversed with him, and laughed at me while making eye contact.
Barbarellas has been my go-to for years, but tonight’s experience has changed my perspective entirely. After tonight, it was not surprising to see other reviews that also had unpleasant experiences with the bouncers.

AVOID THIS BAR. the music was nice and the themed nights seem cool. however, the staff absolutely suck. all of them are so unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. be aware that the bouncers do not care about your safety. they are absolutely on a power trip and will kick you out for reporting creepy and touchy people instead of dealing with the situation. will not be returning.
