Every time I visit Houston, I make sure to stop by Bistro Box since it’s one of my absolute favorites. The food suits my taste perfectly, the portions with prices are both reasonable. Whether dining in or getting takeout, the food is always carefully prepared. Their drinks are delicious too!!! From milk tea and fruit tea to coffee, everything is flavorful and refreshing. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Honestly, I feel like this place is underrated when they give out the best service with food and drinks, not to mention the airy, chill atmosphere. I’ll definitely keep supporting them and hope they keep up the great work!

Loved this place! We tried the pork sandwich and the egg rolls, and both were so good. The pork sandwich was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly made, and the egg rolls were crispy and delicious. The staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was really nice and welcoming. Definitely coming back to try more from the menu!

I’m really impressed by their packaging, it looks so professional and well put together. The bánh mì is my favorite, filled with a generous amount of ingredients and great flavor.

I went in for Boba and right before I was craving pho my husband did not want to go get so we just decided to get Boba as we walked in. I seen they had pho available and I ordered it and Boba. Let me tell you this pho was the best one I’ve ever had, and I was slurping and eating on it when my husband asked for a bite and had to drive back to buy his own because it was extremely delicious.
And for the Boba on its own was very delicious flavor did not taste like any of the Toro we’ve had at different places somehow tasted more authentic
The guy helping us at the counter was very friendly and patient with us since we didn’t know what to order. I can’t believe I’ve lived in this area for a year and passed by this place so many times without stopping and ordering this will for sure be my go to place I truly loved it and wish I would’ve took a picture of my food, but it was all gone ! lol

Great experience and service. Food was great! We ordered the Nashville hot chicken bahn mi and it was full of flavor. The bread was good and the sandwich is my go to moving forward.

As a fellow Asian, you know the food is gonna be good when the kids are in the place. Sure enough, their Banh Mi sandwiches did not disappoint. And it was super affordable! Highly recommend.

Thank goodness for this place I was starving!!

Disappointing and inconsistent dine-in service.

I stopped by to dine in and work for a bit. Ordering felt awkward from the start—the staff member I interacted with seemed disinterested and unhelpful when I asked basic questions about drinks. It was my first time.

After placing my order and settling in, I was called back to the counter to pick up my food, which was odd for a dine-in order.

What made this worse was noticing that every other dine-in customer after me had their food brought to their table, while I did not. I was the only Black customer there at the time. Whether intentional or not, the inconsistency was noticeable and sad. At minimum, staff should be trained to treat all customers the same—either table service for everyone or counter pickup for everyone.

Food was okay, but overpriced for what it was. The mini egg rolls were especially disappointing—almost $9 for very small, overcooked pieces and not worth it.

I hope ownership looks into service consistency and staff training. Until then, I can’t recommend this place, especially based on the dine-in experience.

The food is okay, their build your own box with the standard grilled pork for $14+ is pretty disappointing. I also wish they offer an option to make their sandwich to be bun-less (wrapped in lettuce).

First time here, but already love their food and drink and will definitely come back for more. I had the traditional banh mi today. The sandwich is full of content. The very first taste that strike my taste bud is the garlic and then the every next bite are moist, not dry, with the crunchy bread. The mix of texture and taste is unbeatable. I also had the lemon honey drink. Highly recommend as well! The taste of the drink is very refined and you can taste honey, lemon, and even the jasmine tea.

I was surprised that the mini egg rolls priced at $7.50 was the frozen type normally sold at asian markets. No meat take one bite taste like wet towels. Nothing was inside very disappointed 😞.
