This place was absolutely fire. For those of you that don't know, the style of BBQ here is from Yanbian, which is a border town in China next to Korea, so the flavor is some sort of China/Korea fusion. I was from this area and really craved this style of BBQ ever since I left. Great variety in options, true to hometown taste, you get a grill in the middle of the table to keep things warm (back home they just straight up bring raw meat skewers up for you to cook on the grill, but I guess they were trying to make it a bit more newbie friendly here). Definitely will be back again.

What an excellent asian bbq restaurant! The food was quite good, and I absolutely love their heaters. They have little grill heaters at each table that heat up/cook each of the skewers. Among their competitors in the area, they have the only competent method of keeping food warm/warming food at the table. Their competitors typically have no warming method at all, or they’ll use a candle under a foil that barely works. The seasoning is pretty solid as well, I’d really love to see more spicy seasoning options, maybe a xiang la or xinjiang style option. Their mango sparkling waters and passion fruit sparkling waters, unique to their restaurant, are probably the best drinks I’ve ever found in my life. Very impressive. Love their menu tooService was pretty decent, their saving grace on service was definitely the waitress. She was quite warm and kind and friendly. The guy waiter didn’t really talk much and didn’t come to check on us too often

Recently tried this place and what an interesting experience. you select your meat and they bring it to you like 70% cooked and you finish it to your liking on the grill at your table. we ordered the Spicy Chicken, spicy beef, shrimp, special beef steak, and then also ordered fully cooked items like grilled okra, yanbian noodles, steamed bun. overall the food was great and also a great experience.favorite items spicy beef and the yanbian noodlesthey have a separate halal menu for Muslims.

Great vibes! I definitely liked the atmosphere and the decorations are really awesome, especially the lightings on the walls. Friendly service and great noodles and skewers.

Lamb, beef skewers are so delicious and cold noodle is awesome. However, i can smell smoke inside of restaurant.

Everything was seasoned with the same sauce, which wasn't even a good blend of spices. Overpriced for the quality. The okra and chives weren't charred, they were barely cooked. The spicy beef was the only thing I really enjoyed, but that's not enough to persuade me into a repeat trip.

All the “chuan” are soooo good! Love the lamb and squid! Perfect seasoning. We had cold noodles which is my favorite while in Yanji, China, the noodle is really good but the soup is way to sour. Maybe the chef added wrong amount of vinegar, it was really super sour!

This place is just down bad compared to the other skewer bbq places in Chinatown. The lamb and beef skewers taste weird and unflavored, the chicken wing is only one but separated to two parts instead of two mid-parts. The squid is hard and rubbery to bite. The environment is quite nice but that's about the only thing I can say positive about. Overall, not recommended.

The name might be basic but the food is legit! I've been to Shanghai and had halal lamb skewers outside the mosque made freshly on charcoal grills on the streets of Shanghai after jumuah and this experience is the closest I've seen to that! Lamb skewers are a speciality that the Muslims are known for in China and I remember people of all backgrounds would wait in line for them after the Friday prayers. Here we got the N2 - Yambian warm corn noodle soup which is good as an appetizer for 2-4 people and the house special lamb and beef skewers. Get spicy if u want an extra kick. My wife liked the lamb more but I liked the beef more. You just cook it on the grill in front of you for 1-2 minutes and it's delicious hot right off the grill. Each table can seat upto 6/8 people so it can be a fun experience with friends or family, especially on a cold day. Definitely the first halal Chinese BBQ place I've seen in the US so far. The place is right off beltway 8 near China town so you can go grab some good dessert or boba afterwards. Highly recommend! Great service too. Thanks to management for offering halal - the meat is sourced from restaurant depot. We'll definitely be coming back often!

What a wonderful experience I had... really enjoyed the huge booths with all the halal meats options. Food is 80-90% cooked before you put it on the table top grill. Luckily i didn't have to cook it from a raw state. Nice way to keep every bite warm. Only sad thing was they were out of the beef steak skewers, but no problem ill be going back again. Staff was very accommodating and on top of everything especially for maintaining a Very clean environment. They've got a karoke room too! My picky eating kids even enjoyed the meats. Very reasonable cost. I had the chicken wing which is huge and Hot AF.. definitely have a milk tea to calm the fire down. I can't wait to go back! It's a blessing to have the first halal Chinese establishment the heart of China Town after all these years.
