The pizza was unique and tasted good. The Best was the cheesy breadsticks. The place is self-serve and the staff was not so friendly when I visited. I will try out the other location on Montrose to hopefully have a better experience.

Very rarely do write a one star review because of one individual. But i think this one is deserved. There's a dark haired bartender who after about 3 interactions with him we've come to the conclusion that he needs to get removed. The guy is rude and makes the entire experience of coming to this place uncomfortable. I thought it was me ... but both my wife and a another couple that we hang out with have confirmed this guy has a bad attitude.

I recently visited Betelgues with high hopes, as pizza is my absolute favorite food and I've enjoyed countless varieties over the years. Unfortunately, this was not the experience I was hoping for. The pizza we ordered was disappointing—the crust was excessively moist, almost soggy, and the pizza itself was overloaded with cheese and toppings that didn't seem to be of the best quality.
After our meal, I took a walk around the building and noticed that the kitchen setup seemed more like a makeshift operation, with part of it located outdoors and the other part out of a food truck. While I appreciate the unique approach, it didn't translate into a good dining experience for me.
I really wanted to like this place, but sadly, it was the worst pizza I've ever had. I won't be returning, but I hope they take this feedback to heart and make improvements for the future.

Great pizza and drinks. For drinks, I recommend the Black Lemondrop or Hellfire margarita . The hellfire is not very spicy if you’re a Houstonian, in my opinion, but still good. For pizza , I recommend the Ursa Major. Garlic was delicious. There are no waiters, so you do have to order at the bar. The bartenders are very nice and helpful.

Went here with some friends. All ordered together. 15 minutes after everyone finished eating I still hadn’t gotten my simple small pepperoni pizza. I went to the counter and the lady said it’s the next one out. Counted 8 pizzas come out went back to the bar and she finally decided to check on it. Food is good as I’ve had it before. Service is abysmal.
Y'all have some fierce competition from your Montrose site, but we had a lot of fun singing karaoke and sitting outside watching the traffic. Well done.

This is a pizza parlor Bar..equal parts. How could this idea not work? The place stays pretty filled. It has more character than a carnival and plenty of seating in and out. We stopped in after a 713 show, it was exactly what we needed. Will be back to try more stuff and have some drinks.

Our group two large pizzas and a couple of small ones . The small pizzas were significantly better. The large pizzas were extremely soggy/greazy in the center. We were chatting with tables around us and they experience the same issue. If we go back we will only do a small pizza.
One of the group ordered a hamburger which was really good. The Martinis were some of the best in Houston and the staff was extremely friendly and gracious.
I live for pizza and have to admit the overall experience was disappointing.
