The buffet part is actually called China Bear, but this place pops up
And tricked me into going with its 4.2 stars. If you look up China Bear the reviews are deplorable. People find roaches in the food and flies in the soup.
For the actual buffet, The food was cold and disgusting. The variety was severely lacking. The potato salad tasted like cardboard. The tilapia was rubbery and tasted like it had been there for hours. The cheese wantons were awkwardly warm like they had been under the warmers also for hours. I hope I don't get sick from eating this food.
Waste of money. The waiters were good and attentive. The art is pretty.

It needs maintenance, the ceilings, dirty air ducts, the walls outside the bathroom, the food is good, but my opinion has to give the place some maintenance.

A must go ...If you have not eaten here I highly recommend it.the only issue I have is I wish they would clean where all the fish are .but service and food were good especially for a buffet .

Kid-friendliness: My granddaughter loved feeding the fish .....

My experience at this restaurant left me feeling sad and disappointed, as if it was a complete waste of money. The food was old, stale, dry, and some dishes seemed like they should not have been served. The egg rolls were mushy and tasted expired, while the dumplings felt like they were straight from a store-bought bag. All the bread had severe crusting around the edges, and even the fruit had slime on it, making it seem like they were storing it to reuse for days. The deep-fried fish was stale beyond belief; I couldn't understand how that could even happen. The atmosphere was dull and uninviting, with bad music playing in the background. Although the service staff were friendly enough and kept our water cups full and cleared dirty plates promptly, it did little to make up for the disappointing dining experience.

Honestly some of the worst food I've eaten. Everything tasted old and dry, even though I could see them putting out fresh food. It was only lunch time and the place was dirty, the restroom looked and smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in days. The only saving grace was that our waitress was really nice, but I definitely won't be back.

Stop the bad smell at the entrance where they don't maintain their fish and the food is actually edible but not good and you realize if an Asian eats in those places that's why it's good if you don't look at them no good that's for me A Vietnamese person told it

My husband and son's girlfriend had eaten here before, but it was my first time. The buffet was very good and had so much variety! It ranges from sushi, shrimp, calamari, crawfish, and clams to broccoli beef, Kung pow chicken, and egg drop soup. Over 50 choices with plenty of desserts and all you can eat! The ambiance was also interesting with many beautiful sculptures and even a large chandelier. A must visit in Houston!
