Birthday dinner with 8 adult guests. Ambience was better than expected, in that we could not hear any street noise behind the floor to ceiling windows (note, we were seated at the opposite wall) seating was not cramped at all. As we watched the street, family and weekend activities go on outside, evening turned to night in the glow of chandeliers. Separate checks and our request the waitstaff take photos were accommodated smoothly. Cost for downtown dining experience with authentic French, top-notch beef, seafood and truffle entrees & cocktails was spot on. Sharable desserts were very, very good. Valet fixed fee $10. We will be back for future special occasions. Must have... french onion soup.

The restaurant was very brightly lit. It felt as though we were in a fishbowl being watched by people passing by. Our server, Chad, did fine but we felt rushed. Full appetizers were still on the table when our meals arrived. The food left a lot to be desired. Everything was lukewarm. The crab cake was not the golden brown image depicted on the website, instead an under-seasoned puck covered in pale breadcrumbs. The truffle fries were greasy and cold. The octopus was beautifully cooked and seasoned, but that was about the only thing. We were celebrating, so Chad brought a complimentary dessert: crème brûlée. The sugar was not crisp. It had obviously been torched ahead of time and refrigerated, creating a bitter syrup on top. I'd visited once before two years prior, and I suggested to my friends that we visit. I was extremely embarrassed of my recommendation after our dining experience.

Outstanding experience. If you’re looking for something a little upscale but not too stuffy that serves French dishes you can’t get just anywhere this is a great option. The food and service are both top notch.

I didn't get the food I ordered , wasn't offered to wait for dish that I ordered and was given a dish with scallops which I'm allergic to. I didn't want to make a fuss since I was with a group. They then charged for me the higher price of the meal I didn't order. Funny thing is I choose the restaurant ... I don't recommend at all.

Food was fine. Ordered medium rare was at best medium plus. Great fries, decent wines by the glass. Empty during weekday lunch.

We loved this restaurant. There were six of us there for the first time and we all agreed we would go back. The food was excellent and the wait staff was perfect. I'm so excited to find such a great French restaurant right here in Houston.

Came for brunch for a meeting and the food and service was excellent. The atmosphere was great with the live musical performance and the lighting thanks to the large windows.I really enjoyed the charcuterie and the Caesar salad. My crepe was also very good. The prices were excellent as well.

Made a reservation from out of town as we planned to be in Houston for Easter. Loved the brunch menu and since the website said nothing about a special Easter menu, we were excited about certain menu items. We got there and they had a special, limited, three-course menu that didn't include the items we liked from the standard brunch menu. On top of that, we were forced to get all three courses for a fixed ($$$$) price, even though we didn't want (and couldn't possibly consume) such an enormous amount of food. At least 2/3 of it went to waste. Appetizers and desserts were good, but entrees were mediocre. Crab in crab omelette was not exactly fresh. Overall very disappointing as it cost $250+ for three of us with no alcohol.

It was a great dinner. We decided to go before a concert. Once the restaurant became super busy it started taking longer, but that is to be expected. The food was great and we really enjoyed our dinner!

I was expecting a lot more from the restaurant especially as it's locating in downtown and listed as French in style. The service was lacking and it spoiled the food experience.
