We always stop by when we are downtown. This was our go-to favorite restaurant when we lived here.
They have authentic Texas BBQ. Some of my favorites are the chopped beef sandwich, the chopped beef baked potato, and their corn. The bread pudding is my all time favorite.
They also have consistently good tea!

Our first time visiting and found the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The sweet tea was sweetened perfectly, the brisket was like butter, the BBQ sauce “yellow gold” is a must try for any mustard lover. The banana pudding was smooth and delicious. Give this place a 10/10!

The service was excellent. It’s counter service and the people behind the counter were super friendly. We got the brisket, pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, Mac and cheese, baked beans, potato wedges and the peach cobbler.
The brisket was suuuuuuuper dry The pulled pork was delicious and some of the best I’ve had. I love that they toast up the buns a bit. The two different BBQ sauces are amazing and it was hard to choose. The potato salad was good The beans and Mac cheese were pretty bland The potato wedges were super tasty! The peach cobbler was also good!!
If I’m ever in town again I’ll definitely try them again and hopefully I can increase my score.
First time here, we came in a little late but the staff was so patient and accommodating! All the food was good, but the sides were extra tasty <3

My fiancé and I have came here for about 6X’s now. This is one of the great spots to enjoy great BBQ. We love coming here. We always get attended right and they are supper fast. It is a very warmth and comforting place. We eat here before a football game and before a concert. We literally travel from Beaumont TX to come here to eat .
