“Amazing food. I’m not vegan so that’s saying a lot. I had the smokehouse burger and hands-down one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. Meat or not. Also, my brother-in-law had the grits flight. So good. I’m having family come in town and my vegan sister will definitely be eating here with us. I’m gonna try dessert this time.“

“I loved everything about this place. It brings out the best parts of the neighborhood. It feel like a loving grandmother's kitchen. Each decoration and coffee mug was selected with care and great attention to beauty and nostalgia. The food and drinks are so flavorful! It's an amazing array of spices from Mexico to India! Try the lemon soda! The butter chicken was also great!“

“My type of establishment! Reservations and parking were a breeze, and the food and vibes were 10/10. I ordered the peach cobbler pancakes with a side of eggs and turkey sausage - delicious. The hostesses were vibrant and welcoming, and the service was on point. The overall experience was top tier with a nice crowd. Will be back!“

“We try to check out a couple different breakfast spots every time we come to Houston. Occasionally we’ll find one we go back to, but most aren’t very memorable. We tried Toasterz Cafe on our most recent trip and I am so glad we did! The service was phenomenal and the food matched it. I had the shrimp and grits and bananas foster French toast. Both exceeded expectations. The shrimp & grits, however, were hands-down the best I’ve ever tasted. They add sausage and bacon which absolutely takes it over the top. And the biscuits!? I’ve never had a biscuit that melted in my mouth like these did. Definitely try this place. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Very clean and friendly place to eat. They have delicious tacos and they have rice and beans that delicious. I really recommend breakfast. I went to get gas at the citgo and the beautiful aroma of tacos was right at the front door. It was perfect because I was hungry and after careful inspection of the area it looked clean so I ordered. The people working are so nice and friendly I was thankful for that because my Spanish is terrible. They knew what I was saying and immediately started cooking. I hope that if you are in the area you stop in to try some tacos too.“

“I am not a food critic, but when food is done right I have say something. The wings and tots were on point! The wings were made just right. I wish more establishments would take the time and energy to master the craft as Everything French Toast! The service was definitely 5 star. The portions were well worth the price.“

“Franks Grill on Telephone Road opened in 1963 by my neighbors Frank and Bertha Mae Jones of Glenbrook Valley, Houston. I washed dishes on opening day and my mother "Pipsy" was the cashier. Frank greeted every customer personally with a smile. Bertha Mae baked the best homemade pies in the world, all from scratch. For breakfast you got a half a plate of hashbrowns with 2 sausage patties and 2 eggs. Add coffee all for under $3 Dollars. I ate there most of my life and is still good today.“

“I when in for brunch, the food was very delicious. We got the mimosa flight it was good but the same time to sweet cuz all the syrup when down to the bottom. The chicken was so good and juicy. The only thing I didnt like is that they didnt tell me that they already had
TIP THEM SELF 18% percent. So I didnt know so I tip 20% more. So the waitress took a 38% tip just on my check.“

“Little Hen is like London’s tea time 🫖 has arrived in Houston! (Little did I know they’re from Miami) That being said of many slightly high end restaurants I’m sometimes not satisfied, but with Little hen I am always impressed. Our waitress was so kind, she did sit us right by the door but it’s a small place so we didn’t mind. The tea was a bit watery but I got English breakfast I suggest putting more tea than milk. My rose milk pancakes were delicious and my friend got their Belgium waffle with drizzled dark chocolate. I love rose 🌹 flavored items and the best way I can describe this to a south Asian person is falooda pancakes. I was in love and will be back to bring my mom and grandmother. I would suggest not getting their afternoon tea since I’ve heard it’s not that satisfying and instead getting their entrees, limited drinks, (one tea pot can be enough for two people). Overall 10/10!“
