The way the building was made it was a little loud and hard to hear the other people at the table. But other than that, the portions are way too big. I guess that's a feature!?!!Parking: I parked out front. I didn't know there was garage parking around the back.
My wife and I are trying new restaurants for breakfast so to the Toasted Yolk on Washington Avenue we go. The restaurant has great ambiance bright and inviting. The hostess was very nice and friendly she validated the parking and gave us our options for seating. The waitress Nelly was extremely friendly she took our orders after giving us time to check out the menu. I got the Brisket tacos and the cheese grits and my wife got the Egg and cake.We waited approximately 10 minutes...read full review

Words can’t express how phenomenal the food and the service was! Our waitress Sophia was beyond amazing. She was so informational as far as the menu goes and sightseeing for my first time in Texas! I highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Texas for the first time and request Sophia. She was amazing and very festive for Saint Patties day!! ?
