This place has always been great in both food and selection. The service is almost always great. Only bad thing is also a sign of how popular it is... a line, just to get into the building.Sadly, they announced that they are closing after 75 years. Their last day is March 31st. So, do yourself a favor go grab a bite before they close.

Food was trash good thing they closing down nothing there gumbo garbage people was nice food was not ready on another note Farmers Market Tidwell and Mesa the truth check them out you will be in love great soulfood fresh at good pricing as well as great portions! There was nothing to buy sold out I guess the Gumbo super greasy porkchop salty I come from a long line of chefs so yeah this was out Just Speaking The Truth My Experience If You Know You Have High Volume Have Things Done Earlier First Time And Last Waste Of Gas! The store has changed, the variety of fresh meat is minimal. I don't visit often, but when I do my choices are limited.

Great place to get some cajun and southern cooked food. Always a pleasure to stop by and get some great food. My personal favorite is the baked potatoes with spicy boudain and the jalapeno peppers. I would recommend giving this place a try.

Burt's is my favorite place for down home soul food. This visit, their offers were limited, but, I got a pork chop sandwich & spicy dirty rice. YUM YUM.

I picked up 3 rings of boudin for lunch. Miked them for 3-4 minutes like I always do. It was good but had a more giblets than I like. Then had an upset stomach the rest of the day. Pepto for dessert.

I'm never disappointed in the food at Burts. The gumbo was extremely flavorful with a good amount of chicken and sausage and the oxtails were good. The service was not as good. The lady fixing our food was sloth-like slow and couldn't get our order right even though we were standing directly in front of her. Another worker came up and started helping others behind us. She should have assisted us since we were already in line, but you know you can't say anything lol. Anyway, good food.

A lot of fresh meat choices and excellent hot plates. Have to get there early for lunch because it gets very busy.

Great selection of Boudin roast turkey stuffed pork chops all the great meats and andouille sausage. The steam table is great and fresh food chicken and dumplings beef tips and rice broccoli with cheese and rice fried pork chops ribs muffins cornbread muffins red beans and rice everything is absolutely delicious and fresh

Burt's hot table always have a good selection. So good that it's hard to select. I always get a lot so I don't need to cook. Their meats are of good quality. You need to come and see all that they have. Come.

My place for boudin and hog head cheese. Prices have gone up, but so have it everywhere else. I like the mild. Eating something different this Thanksgiving.
