The mango bubble drink with boba and lychee? 🔥🔥🔥 The udon was good. The chicken and the pork ribs we got were OK but we felt like the sauce was doing the heavy lifting, as the cuts of the meats weren’t that high quality (a bit chewy). Didn’t enjoy the takoyakior chicken wings.

Service was good.

Probably could find better food for a similar price point, or perhaps just a little bit more somewhere else.

Clean and a crazy selection of drinks. Alcoholic and non. Teas, juices, and yogurt drinks. Sells food late and had a very cool ambiance. The food was delicious!

This place is like the Asian version of a bar & grill chill spot where everyone can come to meet up with family or friends. The vibes and atmosphere are nice and relaxing. Attractive staff with great service. Food are great with affordable price with variety of options to choose from. It’s a cute place for a date as well.

It's a no I got stir fried beef in black pepper full of onions just smoothed beef and onions I have to give it a 4. I also got spicy green beans and its just fried beans with a spicky pepper on top no flavor but the pepper. I had a passion fruit that was different 2 glasses of wine and I'll give it a 8 best thing I ordered. I was expecting Asian cuisines and got soul food at its worse 🤦‍♀️I'll try 1 more time and order something easier to see if this place just looks good like a lot of places in Houston.

The prices are not too bad and it’s usually pretty consistent with everything 👍. I go every so often. The music is a bit loud but it’s ok I do show up to this place really late since it is open until 2am

I wanted to try this place because I always see it open and many folks here… well, my experience wasn’t totally bad but I do not recommend the food. While they have many choices to appeal to lots of people, I find this kind of a bad thing. The quality of the food wasn’t super good. I ate one sushi roll and later that night, I threw up a lot. I don’t think the food is great.

I always order the Basa fish with black pepper sauce, and this time was just as good as the previous times.

Loved the chicken with 3-flavor sauce, and super happy with the amount of Thai basils in there. My son, who was so Americanized and preferred his pizza and pasta, also loved and devoured this dish with rice! I also really loved their pickled daikon (one of the two free side dishes) - very refreshing with a hint of spice.

I wouldn't order the sizzling Kalbi beef again even though it was tasty, but a bit overly salty. It was well mechanically tenderized with much fat. Instead of paying $16.99 for a few pieces of this, I rather get a tofu dish next time.

The free dessert soup with mini tapioca was refreshing.

I was pleasantly surprised that their bathrooms were pretty clean with everything working!

Café 101, located on Bellaire Blvd in Houston, is one of our go-to spots whenever we’re in the mood for a mix of Asian cuisines. We’ve been coming to this restaurant for quite some time, and it continues to impress with its wide variety of offerings and consistently good quality food. Whether you’re craving Japanese, Chinese, Thai, or even a fusion of different Asian flavors, Café 101 has something for everyone.

One of the standout features of this place is its extensive and diverse menu. From sushi rolls and stir-fried noodles to spicy Thai curries and hearty Chinese rice dishes, the options are endless. The flavors are always well-balanced, and the ingredients taste fresh. We’ve tried several items over our visits, and we’ve never had any complaints — everything is cooked well, presented nicely, and full of flavor.

Another big plus is the atmosphere. The restaurant has a modern, trendy vibe that’s great for casual hangouts or late-night bites. And speaking of late-night — one of the best parts about Café 101 is that it stays open until 2 a.m. This makes it a perfect spot for late dinners or a relaxed night out with friends after hours, especially when most other places are closed.

The service is also worth mentioning — the staff is friendly and the service is quick, even during busy hours. Whether you dine in or take out, the experience is smooth and pleasant.

In short, Café 101 is a solid choice if you’re looking for a variety of Asian cuisines in one place, especially if you’re dining late. We always enjoy our visits and will definitely keep coming back. Highly recommended for anyone in Houston looking for tasty food and late-night dining!

We ate dinner last night at this restaurant. Ordered hot pot and tofu. The meat was full of grizzle and cheap. Not only it tastes bad, it has no nutritional value. The tofu was very mediocre, not fresh and greasy. The apple and carrot juice was fresh. The service however was great.

There's an odor as soon as I walked in. Smells like dirty mop being used to clean the floors.

The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive from the moment I walked in. They greeted me with genuine smiles, patiently answered my questions about the menu, and even offered recommendations. It’s rare to find a place where both the drinks and the service are equally impressive.

Been coming here for a few years now and it never disappoints! The sushi is always fresh, love the spicy crab and uni. Their hot dishes like the kimchi stew and fried rice with soft shell crab are super flavorful and comforting. Portions are generous, service is quick, and the quality is consistent every time. One of my go-to spots!
