Tried the tasting menu. Interesting food, some appetizers were well balanced with good flavors and presentation. Entree was small, lacked the wow factor was average. Dessert was presented well but disappointing taste. Overall good food, nice mix of flavors did not meet expectations.

Drinks definitely great

Can’t recommend Camaraderie enough! We tried several items on the à la carte menu and the tarte flambèe and dauphiné ravioli we stand outs to us! The service was excellent and we can’t wait to dine again.

Good spot for dinner. Very casual and lively with great service. Got the price fixe menu:

1. Add on mocktail: afterglow / cut above agave, ginger, guava + salted plum
2. Pate de fruit
3. lettuces / persimmon + fine herbs salt
4. baked celery root \ apple, chili + yuzu
5. sweet garlic custard / purple field peas, tomato + fava beans
6. rotolo \ honeynut squash, brown butter + parmesan
7. veal osso buco \ bucatini + mirepoix
8. Bread & Butter
9. Mixed Veggies
10. striped bass basquaise / shishitos + heirloom peppers
11. caramel pear / candied pecan, chocolate + lemon
12. candy apple \ granny smith, marshmallow + lime
13. celebration cake
14. Pate de fruit

Came back for brunch and got the following, with asterisks to indicate what I’d get again:

- Hong Kong Milk Toast / Tahini + Dulce de Leche*
- Omelette / Lobster, Boursin + Spinach*
- Cinnamon Roll
- Cardamom Bun

Service was worst I have had in Houston. Server was purposely ignoring us to the point where we walked out.

The food was tasty! The staff was inviting and accommodating to my Vegan allergies, and still my main course tasted so delicious! Our server, Jackie B., was very knowledgeable of the menu and knew exactly what to suggest for each course. I went with the suggestion of the Celery Root entree made vegan, and couldn’t be more happy with my decision! A truly great chef knows how to pack flavor into a vegan meal, and this one certainly did. The design is beautiful and the vibe of the space is pleasant. Easy parking too! Many thanks to everyone for an overall excellent first visit. We will definitely be back!

The food was delightful, I savored every bite. The cardamom rolls were a flavor I had never had and were a burst of love for that new aroma and taste. The lobster omelet was so fluffy and delicious. If the restaurant wasn't an hour away I would go there for brunch every week. The staff and chefs visited my table and were very attentive. Thanks to the staff it was a wonderful experience.

I wanted to love this place so bad, but unfortunately it fell short of my expectations. There were 2 amazing dish moments that really wowed me, but the rest were average or below. The rotolo \\ honeynut squash, brown butter + parmesan blew my mind completely. If this dish is moved to the a la carte menu, I will 100% return. The flounder en croûte \\ swiss chard + sauce américaine is unlike anything I’ve ever tried and i thoroughly enjoyed it. The dauphiné ravioli \\ comté, caramelized onion + saba was good, not as show stopping as I saw in the reviews online - lacked a bit of dimension in the flavor. The other “to share” items on the prix fixe menu were average at best. The 2 desserts on the prix fixe menu were not good, they unfortunately tasted like freezer burnt ice cream. All in all, I would return to try a couple of the other a la carte menu items, but the prix fixe menu left me more unimpressed than impressed.

The staff is exceptional; warm and knowledgeable, and the food is fantastic. Mini drinks?? Gimme. We did the prix fixe, with shareable apps and sides, but I can’t wait to try the a la carte menu!

This is probably the best new restaurant in Houston right now. The space is clean and simple. Cocktails are crisp and clean. The food is so creative and so different. You aren't going to be able to get a similar meal like this in Houston. If you love seasonal vegetables this is a great place for you. The Celery root tartar was such a wonderful surprise. Desserts were frozen yogurt and milk and honey ice cream, don't skip out! Really loving this addition to our city.

There is no way all these other reviewers ate at the same restaurant that I did. Hands down the worst food I’ve had at a restaurant this year. The chef is clearly so concerned with how food looks in photos at the expense of taste. I gave two stars only because the ambiance is nice and the service was very attentive.

We had the pre fixe menu. The appetizers were all bad. Plainly dressed spring mix for salad, terribly chewy “ravioli” basically just filled with butter, almost inedible. The worst was this weird celery root rectangular cake thing. No idea how this was conceived but it tasted like nothing sprinkled with chili oil. Basically a cold wet chili oil delivery system.

Our entrees were the salmon and the osso buco. The salmon was fine, nothing special, but certainly the best sustenance of the meal. The osso buco, again, focused on a weird presentation rather than taste. It was more super chewy pasta wrapped around a very small pile of braised veal, I guess. I would have ignored the fact that osso buco is typically braised and served with the bone (not spaghetti) had this tasted good. However, the small pile of meat was similar to the carnitas at your local fast casual bowl and burrito place. Which there is fine because you’re paying $10 and you intentionally ordered carnitas. Needless to say the “osso buco” was a huge disappointment.

If there was an attempt at a saving grace for this meal, it was the desserts. Frozen yogurt, gelato, meringue were all solid. I am guessing why some of these reviews are significantly higher than what I would expect - people seem to remember the last thing they ate.

I hate leaving a review like this, but clearly these ratings needed a different perspective. For a $200+ for dinner for two I expected a much different experience. I could have gotten past the small portions and focus on presentation had things tasted good, but they didn’t, and I honestly think most of these reviews are delusional.
