My husband and I visited this restaurant this past Sunday for Dim Sum, arriving about 15 minutes after they opened. Unfortunately, we had to leave shortly after being seated because we saw a roach walk from the kitchen area to a nearby dining table. While I’m sure the food is good, seeing a roach come out of the kitchen was a major turn-off. I hope the restaurant takes steps to address this issue and improve their cleanliness.

Family owned. Loads of Cantonese people dining here.
Food comes out fast on a Sunday and Sesame Balls are fresh made to order!
Will be back!

You might have to wait for a little bit because they're pretty busy! There’s a lot of food, but it’s nothing exceptional, the prices are cheap though 🤠🤠🤠

Came on a Saturday around lunch and there was a wait. The waiting area was just a couple of chairs stuck in a corner so plan accordingly if you have a large party. Tried some of the typical dim sum dishes: spare ribs, steamed shrimp dumplings, shrimp cheung fun, chicken feet, fish congee, chinese broccoli, and tofu skin roll. Overall - the steamed dim sum were all over steamed, the rice wrappers were too sticky and fell apart immediately. The chinese broccoli was stir fried instead of steamed with fish sauce. The fish congee lacked flavor in its own. Tried the beef baby rib as that is not typically offered at dim sum - it took the longest to arrive but it was still tough. It was hard to flag down servers. There are better dim sum restaurants in the area. So-so offerings but the dining experience was disappointing.

Food was fresh, delicious, and served hot. Wasn’t worth the 45min wait. The meat in the banh Cuon beef was very thin but tastes good. Try once, won’t return only because the weekend wait and they have a small menu. Typical china town service no one came to clear the table or refill drinks.

Tried out Fine River Dim Sum for the first time today. It was pretty good. When we went (4 PM) the restaurant was empty. Food came out at a good pace. Price and portion was good. I enjoyed the salted egg yolk buns... Yum! Will come back if I'm in the area.

Wife wanted dimsum after a fun time at Activate Games in Katy. Found Fine River open later than most places on google with great reviews. Showed up with 16 friends and family, and was greeted and taken care of the whole time. Service was amazing, attentive, and friendly! Food came out fast and was so good. Will be back, thank you!

Went here thinking it was a vegan restaurant based on the reviews but apparently the old restaurant is no longer operating and the new one is not too vegan-friendly. They do have a few veggie options but I wouldn’t go out of my way here to eat if you’re vegetarian or vegan. Food was pretty good though, considering!
A new dim sum restaurant that took over a somewhat will known vegan restaurant space. Because the restaurant is pretty new the food came out very slow. For example we ordered everything and our shrimp dumpling came out last when we are all full. I would skip the shrimp dumpling even though it is a must have at a dim sum but the Sui Mai where really good size for the price. The Spare Rib with Black Bean was good also.

First time trying here and it has become my fav. Everything I got was hot, fresh, tasty, filling and seem to be handmade. The steam salted egg custard bun is a must try!!! Will def come back! 10/10

My parents really wanted to try the new dim sum place, but I was hesitant. Fine River proved me wrong. Everything was so fresh and less greasy than bigger dim sum places like Fung's. My favorites were the fried squid, fried custard puffs (like donuts with custard!), turnip cake and congee. Things were slightly under-salted but better for your health. The wait staff was also nice and got all the dishes to our table timely. Everything was hot and fresh. If it wasn't so far away for us, this would be my go to dim sum place.

Great new addition to the Chinatown Dim Sum scene. They serve dim sum all day, Sun - Thursday to 6:30, Friday Sat to 9pm. You order from a menu and the dishes come out a few at a time. They are tasty, hot and doesn’t taste like MSG to me. The pork blood is very good, as well as chicken feet, rice rolls, beef tripe, eggplant and congee. They have an egg tofu rice roll which I haven’t seen before and is really good. Highly recommend.
