Really like this place but wouldn't drive more than 20 mins for it. Well, maybe I would, because their Cinnamon Crunch donut is so good! Their sugar glazed was generous, and the sausage kolaches are delicious too. This place cooks the jalapeno with the sausage together--it's way better done here than at Le Donut 3 miles away (which surprisingly has the same 4.6 rating as Christy's). There the jalapeño is just sliced and put next to the meat. That being said, Christy's please put more cheese in your kolaches! It's hardly there.

I've been coming here for years. Everything is made fresh daily. The service is friendly and helpful. They give you free donut holes depending on how much you order. The donuts and sausage kolaches are always solid. It's a small shop with limited seating. We usually just get things to go.
It's an old style donut shop with many many varieties of donuts. You'll find what you're looking for here at usual prices. They've been here forever and they'll get right after your order

Kolaches are amazing! Love the donuts & donut holes. Staff is very friendly.
A neighborhood favorite. The chappell hill sausage kolaches are massive and delicious. The sausage has an excellent snap, and is seasoned so well. The donuts are delicious with a fluffy doughy texture, and there's a huge variety. Service is always good and fast.
Old timey donut shop atmosphere with no frills and really good donuts in the heart of Montrose/River Oaks. Donuts are nice and crunchy on outside with a soft and delicious interior. These are homemade with love.

Got a egg n cheese kolache, bit into it and it tasted spoiled. The lady said it’s peppermint…and since you bit into it, you can throw it away…because you make egg n cheese kolaches with peppermint. “ My apologies, let me take that and give you a fresh one” would have been better
