Pizaro's Pizza Napoletana Reviews
Delicious!!!
Pizaro's definitely lived up to the hype. We tried both the New York-style and Detroit-style pizzas, and they were both outstanding. The sauce on the New York-style pizza was some of the best I've ever had, and everything tasted incredibly fresh.
The Detroit-style pizza had an amazing crispy crunch on the outside while staying soft inside. If you're a ranch lover, don't skip it here—their ranch is thick, creamy, and packed with flavor.

This pizza restaurant is a hidden gem! I’m amazed it’s not bustling with lunch crowds. The margherita discounts make it worth even more for lunch, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pizza is undoubtedly one of the best in Houston, offering a quality that far surpasses typical chain options. If you’re a true pizza lover, this is the place to be!

Pizaro's Pizza Napoletana is a restaurant that offers delicious pizzas with a perfect crust, flavorful sauce, and mouthwatering toppings. The Margherita pizza remains a standout, and the menu features creative specialty pizzas that are always well-received. Recently, a new pizza combination with chicken and veggies was introduced, which received positive feedback from customers. The dough is consistently praised for being on point, with many reviewers comparing it to the best in Naples, Italy. The menu is straightforward and easy to follow, and even the gluten-free option is fantastic. Service is quick and friendly, with staff known for their good humor, welcoming attitude, and outstanding customer service. Justin, a notable employee, greets customers by name and goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Visitors have enjoyed participating in activities like making their own pizzas, tossing dough in the air, and learning about the process of making fresh mozzarella cheese from curds. The restaurant provides a high-quality meal with tastes from Italy, and it is considered a Houston staple that does not disappoint. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, making it perfect for a weeknight dinner or a quick lunch, although some find the seats a bit uncomfortable for longer visits. Overall, it is a great spot with a cool environment and a variety of vegetarian options available. Customers often praise the crispy edges of the roni pep cups on The Motown with jalapeno pesto drizzle, calling it "fire," and appreciate the friendly staff and good vibes. The pizza options, such as the jalapeño pesto, are described as fantastic, with a crispy yet soft crust for NY style and a soft inside with crispy cheesy edges for Detroit Style. Service is consistently welcoming, kind, and inviting. Many reviewers have found the atmosphere pleasant and chill, and are happy to ask questions about how the pizzas are cooked, receiving friendly explanations. The Detroit style pizza, which is crusty, crispy, and decadent, is highly recommended. The prices are on the higher side, but the pizzas are generous enough for two meals. The stuffed pizza with mozzarella inside is especially delicious. The cannoli is also a highlight, though sharing is tricky as it tends to break apart into shards. The restaurant feels pretty upscale and fancy for a pizza parlor, with intimate lighting and a cozy environment. Overall, Pizaro's offers a high-quality dining experience with great vibes and friendly service.
