Went here for Houston Restaurant Week as we'd been living in the area for several years and have yet to try it out. It was fine, honestly just a slight upgrade from Oliver Garden. The food was decent but the cocktails were watered down and had no flavor. Definitely not worth $13 each.
Overall 3.5 stars, if you want really good Italian I would skip this place. What we spent was not worth it, at least for the food & drinks. The plus side is it is kid friendly and they have a green grass area in the back of the restaurant.

We had high hopes for Ciro’s and, to be fair, our evening started off wonderfully. The servers were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and professional. The food was absolutely amazing; every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. For a moment, we thought we found our new favorite spot.
But everything changed when we witnessed something that completely ruined the experience.
While enjoying our meal, we saw the manager—Jesus—berate an elderly employee (who looked to be at least 70 years old) in an aggressive, disgusting way. He was cussing him out in Spanish, right there in front of guests. The level of hostility and disrespect was shocking. No one deserves to be treated that way, especially not an older man who was clearly working hard and trying his best.
It was heartbreaking and disturbing to witness. The entire table lost their appetite. What could’ve been a glowing five-star review turned into a major disappointment because of the inexcusable behavior of someone in a leadership position.
Great food and service mean nothing when a restaurant allows abusive treatment of its staff. We won’t be returning.

Best Italian in Houston! Great service and always fantastic food!
We ordered several dishes and only one was not enjoyable. When my husband, a combat Veteran tried to send it back, Jesus and Daniele said he was wrong which seemed like they were calling him a liar and insisted he keep it because one shrimp had been eaten. He was shocked how petty after we had dined several times at Ciros. They made him pay for it and said he couldn’t leave until he did. As a combat Veteran, he really didn’t feel like arguing with Jesus and Daniele anymore so he just paid for it. Jesus was super aggressive with a combat veteran. My husband and I tried to find Ciro to no avail. Very sad and disappointing.

The restaurant was too loud .. We couldn’t hear each other talk . This was at 1 pm Wednesday. The waitress was rushing us and took our salads before we were finished. My mother ordered the Margarita pizza . It tasted like cardboard .
