I was in the area and craving pasta. I didn't notice any lunch specials. You get bread on a bag with olive oil before your meal. I ordered the half order of spinach and garlic tortellini. There were seven tortellini in the order. They were quite good. The half order is $15.50. It shouldn't be more than $14, especially at lunch. I ate four and took the rest to go. They're quite filling. I would have loved to order dessert. But they're setting you back $10 now....
The service added to the feeling of being at a well-loved home-meal: friendly, attentive, and happy to share recommendations rather than rush us out. And to finish, the tiramisu was light, creamy, and not overly sweet — a perfect end to the meal.
