Food was awful. Did a doordash and received meat with more fat on it than edible parts. The meat I could eat was very bland season and flavor wise. Beans were meh. The only thing I liked was the pie. Definitely don't recommend this place.

After a long day at the hospital, I wanted a really good burger. What I got was a really GREAT burger! It was Juicy, flavorful, and ever so tasty. I got the mushroom Swiss burger. The sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions melted in my mouth. I highly recommend you try it!

After a doctor's visit, we craved something satisfying and substantial - no street food would do! Citadel exceeded our expectations. We indulged in loaded potatoes and crispy fries, and oh, they hit the spot!
But what truly impressed us was the exceptional service. Our server, Soto, warmly welcomed us to the establishment, taking a moment to chat and ensure we felt at home. That personal touch made all the difference!
While prices may be a tad higher than average, the quality and hospitality make it well worth the investment

Was lodged in the medical center for 3 days with my wife, a cancer patient. Citadel BBQ was within easy walking distance from the hotel, so I got food from here almost exclusively. Tried most of the sides, the ribs, hamburgers, the loaded baked potatoes, and the bread pudding. All were very good. Service was top notch. I thought the prices were not to bad for the location. Will definitely return on our next visit to Houston.

Went and had lunch today at Citadel BBQ and the food was great. The service was outstanding. I loved the corn that is mixed in a Cajun sauce with little bits of red bell pepper. Brisket nice and lean and the jalapeño sausage was a good compliment. Everything was nice and warm and the flavor was spot on. Taz is a great person to have on the team. Very engaged in conversation and had a great vibe to her. I will definitely be back.
