Went over about an hour and half till close. Unfortunately at a hospital stay. The food was OK but not for the price. Got brisket baked potatoes. The potatoes were not cooked well and were hard in a lot of spots. The brisket for the potatoes was definitely chopped way before I got there. The half pound of brisket was OK. I would not go again. I will also concede maybe if you went earlier in the day it would be better. I am not willing to try.

I’m a regular to this place I normally get a baked potato with chopped beef but today I changed it up and got a brisket plate and when I say this is not disappointed I’m not I will recommend this place if your in the downtown area for lunch .

Cornbread hard as a rock, pulled pork had funky taste. Overcharged me for meat on nachos. Inedible. And he forgot my sandwich, I had to remind to give me my food. Spent $50 for trash food.

Was staying nearby hotel and walked over to grab lunch. There was only a few people in there when I got there, but the staff was friendly and the burger was made to order. Brisket was moist, mac and cheese was creamy and had a Mexican flare to it. Prices were very reasonable. They have a full bar as well and a TV.

I never frequent downtown but was with a relative in the hospital and got the BBQ burger… it was A+mazing! The staff was great and the portions were large! Awesome potato wedges! Glad to see good old fashioned Texas flavors in the urban area!!!

We came for lunch on a Wednesday. It was not very busy but we still waited 10 minutes to get to the counter. It was very quiet. Hubby had the gumbo and I had red beans and rice. Both were tasty enough that we will come back.

I know they’re a barbecue place, but the burgers are also really solid! I’m not a huge fan of the potato wedge fries, but that’s more of a preference thing. If you’re on the fence, give it a shot!
Food was awful. Did a doordash and received meat with more fat on it than edible parts. The meat I could eat was very bland season and flavor wise. Beans were meh. The only thing I liked was the pie. Definitely don't recommend this place.

After a long day at the hospital, I wanted a really good burger. What I got was a really GREAT burger! It was Juicy, flavorful, and ever so tasty. I got the mushroom Swiss burger. The sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions melted in my mouth. I highly recommend you try it!
