I came to Onyx with a couple friends around 2 this morning & the atmosphere was so underwhelming. Idk if we were here for amateur night, or a Juneteenth special. The music was DATED! At one point the DJ played wobble. The wobble. The DJ played a cookout anthem at a strip club. My vibe immediately got dry. We left in less than an hour & I felt like I shouldn’t recommend another strip club. I use to speak highly of Onyx. I’ve had some good nights at this club, but I won’t recommend going on a Thursday night. Now don’t give me wrong!!! The strippers are always phenomenal, that’s never the issue. Even though they didn’t get completely nude, the ladies always get the job done, they’re always very personable & can carry a conversation. The improvements should come from having a DJ with a trendier playlist, or hire a better event manager.

40 dollars for refular parking and 60 for Valet even though you are going in the club. That too even Late in the night. The security guy was rude as hell for an expired license.

Manager very rude and discriminatory after spending money at this place. I would like to speak to the owner of this business about your manager you have working there on June 2nd. The manager shouldn’t even be working there with the way he treats people and kicking people out for no reason. Don’t even give a person a chance to audition to dance. I got so many followers on social media even on TikTok that will make this business go down the drain if I go live tomorrow about this business with the manger they have working here.

the security guard that works near the front desk harassed and assaulted me and my friends multiple times while we were trying to get in and they are doing nothing about it.
he harassed us the entire time we were at the counter, screaming in our faces, he pushed my friend into the desk so hard and he almost fell over. pushed my other friend into the partition outside. she literally fell to ground and scraped her knee. completely disgusting behavior. this man was clearly on some type of substance. please be aware!

I attended this Establishment on my Birthday 🎉. It was on a Tuesday and started out slow, but the crowd progressively grew throughout the night. The waitress was attentive and the dancers were pleasant. The D.J. was solid and the food 🍱 took a lil while but was good. I 👍 gave it a 4 ⭐️ and will be returning.
The dancers are truly fun and make this place a good time, probably some of the coolest women you’ll ever meet in Houston. Unfortunately, the bar is another story. They water down the liquor and reseal the bottles, which you can definitely tell, then upsell it for your section. That’s a scam in itself.
Update: As far as the owner’s reply, thank you for the standard business response. But those bottles were absolutely diluted with water and everyone in our section noticed. The alcohol tasted like water and even after finishing the bottle, no one felt anything. 6 people can’t be delusional.
