Charlie, the owner/Bartender is great! I came alone, he came to speak to me. Funny guy. He was interactive with other customers as well. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town.

I think the billboard sign says it correctly. A cellphone lot with booze! Owner is bartender and probably cook. He is the only person I see here. Dark setting, punk rock music, billiards and darts. Drinks are not expensive. This is definitely not a sports bar! This would be a good place to wait for a delayed plane, cheap place for you and friends to drink and laugh. Certainly a dive bar feel. You get the munchies I would order something, but I'm not coming here to eat dinner. If I'm stuck at the doubletree airport I would visit here again for a beer.

The time is around 5:20pm ish. I walked in not a soul inside besides the bartender. The atmosphere is more rock n roll vibe so if that's your vibe that will help win you over. I try to order food but was told that they are not serving food at all which is a big bummer. There is a 10 doller minimum if using credit or debit (so be warned). I started with a water which was about $2.50 and ordered a tequila sunrise which was about 9. My total bill with tab closed was $11.50. The drink was not flavorful. Tasted like ingredients where cut back. Overall I rate the experience a 2 out of 5

Charlie is the freaking dude. If you're in South East Houston, want a dive bar feel, good drinks for good prices, and maybe some sass from your local bartender, you better come here.15/10

Bar with a great selection of beers and other drinks. Owner is a friendly but "special" guy. Great stay, no food for us.

If you’re in Houston, and enjoy a dive bar, this is your spot!!! Metal music, vintage airline memorabilia, and craft beer. WONDERFUL bartender. Get it!!!

The sign message board 'a cell phone lot with a liquor license' ! This is not a fancy place and it's not supposed to be. They have interesting decor with all sorts of airline memorabilia. The music while we were there was playing cool punk style rock, at a good volume to enjoy but not too loud to talk, the owner did say he avoids sports on the tvs, preferring to show mindless entertainment (I think southpark and some B movies were on while we were there). Interesting friendly stop though, glad we went. (I'm not sure they have food - 'grill' in the name but...)

Great little dive bar. Perfect for helicopter pilots like me but I don't think too many of the classy airline folk will be getting their hands dirty here ?

This joint is a dump pretending to be a bar. Air quality is poor, shoes stick to the floor, restrooms are filthy. Menu, what menu?

This place has a pretty laid back atmosphere. The owner is a nice guy with great conversation if ya can catch him at the right time! I went and threw back some Modelos and Jameson and had a great time. I was early and didn't see too many folks coming through, so I missed any locals to kick it with, and the club next door hadn't opened yet, so didn't even get to see any of the shenanigans from over there! I don't know for sure if they serve food despite having "grill" in the name, but theres a Jack in the box right there iffin ya need ta fill yer gullet. There ya have it! Go check it out. Its very conveniently located to just about any motel by the airport. So theres no excuse! Get yo a** down there. Let me know what you think!

Cute hole in the wall kinda dive bar. Both Theodore and Charles were kind enough to serve us, and this establishment has enough space to visit with your drinking buds. If you're early to HOU, excellent idea to stop by for a bit, and enjoy a few strong cocktails. The entire bar has several vintage Htown memorabilia which is kinda cool. ¡Salud!
